Staff friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and common rooms. Lacking an outdoor area but Probably due to location. Chilled atmosphere.

Nice place. First time I\'ve stayed at a hostel. My only complaint is about the idiot outside on the sidewalk playing bongo drums until 4 in the morning.

My first time staying in a hostel, and I already can't imagine why anyone should have to pay ten times as much for a hotel room. Friendly staff, clean room, great location.

I was very satisfied with my stay in the hostel though one thing that bothered me was the fact that I had to change my room after one day. I heard from several people that they had to do the same. This is not very professional! Breakfast was very basic.

A really good hostel, close to transport links and union square and Westfield shopping. I enjoyed my stay, the only 2 things I would say is lights by the bed would be good and more plug sockets in the room.

I had a amazing time here. If you are in a group with separated reservations, don't forget to call to hostel and ask to get the same room.

Great location, minutes walk to city and Market St. Try to get to a SF Giants baseball game, AT&T Stadium is 20-25min walk from hostel on 3rd St. The BART option was great coming from SFO Airport, only $2.25 and the hostel is a short walk from Powell Station. Staff friendly and facilities were good. Wifi and internet was a little dicey though. Try the Apple Store outside Powell station near Market St for free internet.

Very clean Hostel. Haven\'t been to too many hostels but this is definitely one of the cleanest. Friendly and helpful staff. On site kitchen was always very clean and very large. All Ikea furniture. Bathrooms never felt \"gross\". Huge hostel, very spacious. Good deals with some of the things we did. Lots of activities offered.

great location, great facilities (internet, kitchen and chill out area) and great staff, makes it up to the building and rooms that are quite old, especially the door locks definitely need to get changed in all the rooms as we were not the only ones having troubles.

Nice hostel. Good advice from staff for bars and dinner. Few small things: we had a room at the front, which was extremely loud at night, even with earplugs. We asked if we could get another room, one of the stafmembers would let us know by putting a note on our door, but there was nothing there when we came back. Also, someone stole our food from the fridge, even though I had marked it.

Very good facilities. Excellent location. Good breakfast. Would stay here again. Only negative was lots of school groups. Not very social for solo travellers.

The only bad thing is the elevator...as they say...it\'s a pain!!!:D Jokes apart, it\'s a good hostel in a good place of the city! Absolutely good!

The location is unbeatable, it is right next to the BART so you can easily get to and from the airport. it is directly downtown right next to all the sights and transport. the breakfast is fab with fresh bagels and cream cheese as well fruit etc, love! the hostel is very clean and friendly. the common areas are large and on many levels. the place is more of a chill out hostel not a party one and not the greatest for socialising although the orgaised activities really help with that.

The only "but" was that the kitchen was open only until 10 PM, and usually, when you are traveling, never get to the hostel before 10 pm, and all your foods was inside the fridge in the kithchen. Besides that, everything else was awsome! specially the beds so comfy! and the amazing location near to everything major! loved it!

The area is sketchy (Close to Tenderloin) with multiple crimes committed in that area during my two week stay. The staff is young, and security is based on them looking up form the computer and checking your key/security badge...this happens about 50% of the time. The breakfast is basic, the internet is VERY UNSTABLE, the rooms are clean, the cleaning staff is nice, the hot water is ok, the hostel sponsored events are good. An average big city hostel.
