Had a fantastic stay here, good location, 3minute walk to the main street and shops. Very helpful and friendly staff who spoke perfect English and rooms where clean and spacious with a tv and fridge. Included a free breakfast which has a wide variety and was stocked up often by friendly staff. Would deffinately stay here again.

Just slept there for one night to catch a bus early in the morning. Great location and very nice people.

Very clean, great breakfast, terrible location, unhelpful staff. Charging guests 4 reals to use the internet is a joke also.

The staff at HI downtown were brilliant! they were very helpful, friendly and approachable and would go out of there way to give you a hand if it was needed. I would definitely stay back at HI downtown if I go back through Sao Paulo.
