Got upgraded to the Co-ed 8 bed dorm room from a 10 bed female dorm but the room was small. However the co-ed room did have an ensuite in the room. The 10 bed female dorm we stayed at was more spacious. Location is really good. Lots of activities every day organized by the hostel.

There was a nice activity schedule at this hostel, but only few or no people joined (250 beds). The elevator is annoying and deadly slow (especially if you are on the 9th floor!) No breakfast included, laundry service (3$ for washing 3$ for drying) Wifi was ok most of the time on all floors. The kitchen is well equipped and there are 4 fridges for leaving stuff. All in all an average hostel.

The staff is very helpful, the dorm I stayed in (6-bed all F dorm) was peaceful, which is what I wanted. The bathrooms could use a bleaching- the showers are a bit moldy.

the rooms were very small with a bathroom at the end of the room with no door on it so whenever someone wanted to use it they would turn on the light and fan which would wake everyone up.

I found the hostel itself, its location very good right in downtown close to everything i wanted to see. Also found one of the front desk staff very helpful and informative as well as always cheerful however the rest of the desk always seemed frustrated even angry at me when i asked questions/asked for help etc this i found exceedingly rude!!

Great hostel. Activities every day/night. The built in Cafe is cheap and real tasty (dinner is all i had though). Internet is a little so so at times which could be improved as well as the cards to doors. Other than that good kitchen and common areas. Really central to most parts of Toronto.

I only stayed one night, but the hostel is clean and in a good location. Furthermore the luggage storage is free. Unfortunately, there were only (as I could see) 2 sockets in the 8=bed dorm and the air conditioner was pretty loud at night.

Really nice place. Is it possible to find something cheaper, but In my opinion this is a perfect place taking in account all details together.

Very good Hostel, unfortunately the improved Wi-Fi did not work in my room, but everywhere else... the mattress was a little saggy, but in total: Great Hostel and Staff, I will always return to this place!

Great hostel for all ppl, those that feel more social or those that need more peace and quiet. Very friendly atmosphere. Very clean as well.

I booked a single room as I was traveling with my girlfriend. The rate that hostelworld quoted for me did not include Canadian taxes as well as Membership fees to Hostelling International, which was an additional 50$ to what I was expected to pay. It costed 225$ for 2 nights. For that price I could have stayed in a proper hotel.

I arrived at the hostel after flying in from Vancouver, tired and looking for a bed, and struggled to even find a staff member on reception to check me in. I was also disappointed with the dorm room - I was in a 10 bed female dorm, which was essentially a row of bunk beds lined up in a dark corridor. Not great. WiFi did not work in my dorm room so had to stand out in the corridor. Also, as with many HI hostels, was lacking in social atmosphere, which as a solo traveller is very important.
