Excellent hostel with friendly staff and nice amenities. Wifi didn't work in the rooms though... that would have been nice. Stayed on a monday night so not really that busy, Was upgraded to a private room at no extra cost as well! Overall a very good experience.

It is a great hostel. Really friendly staff and all is very clean. Its a hostel for young and old. I really had a great time there.

A fantastic location! It was easy to get everywhere. I really liked the deals that the hostel offered for local attractions and tours and the way they always had lists of things to do up on the board. The hostel's cafe was delicious and reasonably priced. Next time I would probably stay in a smaller dorm as the 8 person dorm was a bit hectic with girls coming in late and leaving early. That, with the noise of the ensuite made it tricky to sleep.

It was a really good place to stay, really close to all the main attractions and the staff and other guests were friendly, The organised pub crawl was a good laugh! Can't fault the place or the staff :D

One thing that really comes to mind about HI Toronto is that the staff was super nice. I asked for tips for food and for other things a couple of times, and everytime the staff was very friendly and helpfull. I stayed there fo 3 nights, in a shared room with ensuite, but since the room was full of women, i quite often used the bathrooms on the hall to start my days a bit quicker. Great, clean and pub crawl on sunday dec 10th rocked..

I was there only for one night, and I left pretty early in the morning. But really got nothing to complain about. Maybe it was tiny bit expensive for what it was though. And staying for only one night didn't make any sense for me to become a member, so I had to pay 4$ extra. Otherwise, I suggest everyone to go there. PERFECT location, lots of character and security is GREAT

No atmosphere so no fun. No friendly welcome. Not bad apart from that. No bar either despite saying there was one.

We really liked the Hostel for the weekend, it was clean and everybody was friendly. The breakfast was nice not to pricy and served to the table. we also had the chance to make our own food at all times. The thing i liked best was the washroom,sink,shower in the room so you dont have to walk through the hallway. We stayed in a 6-bed female room, i recomend this hostel!

The hostel is especially good in the sense that 1The kitchen and the spacious common area are open nearly 24 hours a day- at least all night long. I am a late person and always stay up till very late using Internet or have some snacks. They are great areas where I made new friends from everywhere. I did make a few friends who ended up taking me to their local friends' homes and parties which turned out to be the best experience during my vacation. And that's all what hostel is all about. 2lift.

I've stayed in many Hostels around the world and I found this one VERY CLEAN, in a fantastic location (safe, clean etc) and the available tours were awesome!! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I'd definetly stay at this hostel again, and recommend it to everyone! Only issue I had really, and its not even that big of a deal was the beds were metal and made a lot of noise for people climbing into and out of the bed.

it was nice trip and i satisfied this hostel overall but, I want they to notice to treveler about locker that treveler should have got a lock and key. and I think that they are supposed to prepare slippers. because all of korean hostel have prepared slippers. that's it.

I booked a 10 bedroom female dorm but was put in a 6-bedroom, I came back to the front dask asking to change the dorm, but they told me that i was charged for 10-bedroom dorm but put in a 6-bedroom. Then I decided, ok, I must misunderstood something and left it. Now when I am at home I decided to look through it again. And yes, I was charged for 6-bedroom dorm! =( this is a good hostel, but the next time i will be more attentive...
