Very nice staff!!! Hostel arranges walking and jungle tours, etc.for short money ;)
Nice place, very good buffet-breakfast but the hot water was missed. We spent 2 nights and it was imposible to take a shower. Maybe in summer is ok but if you go in winter...good luck!. The staff is helpful and nice.
Half way through the first night my boyfriend got really ill with food poisoning. There was no one on the desk, supposedly till 7 but no one actually arrive till half past. I asked if we could be moved to a private room, all via google translate and nothing was done till I agreed to pay 160reais even though the hostel world price for a private was 45, they had loads of spare rooms and he would have disturbed everyone in the shared room throwing up. Otherwise really nice hostel
Great hostel. A little tricky knowing when to stop the bus but the location for beaches is fantastic. The staff are great and always willing to help. We had a Brazilian BBQ when we were there, it was brilliant and i think they do them often so worth sticking around for! You won't regret picking this place!

Located bit far from center of ubatuba, it's a nice hostel with great breakfast. There is a pool but it was very dirty. Rooms are clean and big enough for 4 persons.
I love Tribo Hostel. They have everything you need for a nice stay. They organize parties, have clean rooms, have Wifi, and the location of the hostel is great. It's only a few blocks from the beach, so you can go have a swim whenever you want. I will definitely go back to stay there again.

The hostel is in à small village 20 min with bus outside Ubatuba. It is cloose to three nice beaches and more wonderful beaches within hiking distance. The hostel is clean, serves an ok breakfast and The staff were really helpful and friendly ( but some didnt speak english). They also had alot of movies.
Two of four lockers in the room were broken, only some staff spoke English and others who spoke a bit almost made no effort to try and just expected me to speak Spanish and understand their Portuguese. Had to pay to use the computer. Not a lot but the first time I'd experienced that in Brazilian hostels. Good place to chill out with some brilliant beaches close by.
Really nice hostel. The fans in the rooms were a bit useless. Nice pool and really good atmosphere
Very nice hostel!!! Each room has an ensuite bathroom. It's neat. Not as clean as at home of course.. But it's a hostel. Get used to it! The hostel is only 2 blocks from the beach. A less than 5 minutes walk to Lazaro beach. Very beautiful and quite a quiet beach. Very fun and nice staff and you will meet even more fun people right at the hostel. I had a great time at Tribo Hostel!
HA. this place is simply amazing. We visited after coming from Paraty. The place is big and has nice, clean rooms. The downstairs has a TV area, pool area, and dining room area. It is only two blocks away from a lot of beaches. The people that worked there were extremely friendly and made us feel like at home. I would recommend this place anytime.
Location was good and a nice place to relax away from the big cities. Ubatuba center is 30min by bus. Lázaro beach was beautiful and sheltered, trails to walk near and several small markets for groceries were close. The staff at the hostel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well above average. Downside, I dont carry my laptop and there was only one old computer for internet use and it wasnt free(wifi is free). I really recommend stopping here between Rio and São Paulo to unwind a bit.

This hostel has an awesome communal area and a really good atmosphere. If you´re going to stay here make sure you´re there for the Saturday night as that is not to be missed. It´s a bit out of town but as a place to chill out and meet new people it´s ideal.
A nice place to stay inbetween Sao Paolo & Rio. Has amazing tropical beaches 1 minute walk from the hostel. Hostel is clean and does one of the best breakfasts in Brazil with lots of variety and fruit.
Absolutely spotless hostel and close to the beach. The breakfast was great and fresh. Rooms were a little cramped and very hot and they only have same sex dorms available, not great for a couple. Other than those minor issues, a great place to stay.
I really love this place, the staff is pretty nice... Congratulations!
The hostel is not exactly in Ubatuba but in a place called Lazaro. It's veeeery quiet there ...so it's great if you are looking for some rest. And the beach is very close. They have very good breakfast and the staff is nice and helpful. Minus points were that they didn't have maps of the area and the flush of the toilet in our room didn't work very good! ;) Also the room was kind of small and was supposed to be for 4 persons, luckily we were only two there. Beware of the mosquitos!
The rooms are very small and the bed is not so confortable. The breakfast is good, but could be better. Staff is good The beach is good if you want to relax. The crowd ones and the center are far.
My boyfriend and I liked the place a lot. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety and the staff was very polite as well as informative when we had questions about the surrounding area. I would definitely come back again if I return to Ubatuba! :D
