This was one of the best hostels I've stayed at; Clean, comfortable, spacious, good staff, and a fabulously beautiful location. Only thing is without a car or bike would be difficult for an extended stay, as about a 2 mile walk to bus, though could probably always get a ride with someone staying there.

I can't wait to return! The staff couldn't have been more wonderfully invested in the visitors and making thier stay the very best it could be, Particularly, the high maintenance guests! I was so very impressed!!!

This is truly an amazing opportunity to stay at a great place, in a most gorgeous setting, right next to the ocean. You can even hear the waves from the hostel. And nice people from all over the world. I will go back for sure.

Not enough bathrooms/ showers/toilets. Location is REALLY beautiful (next to the sand dunes) BUT it was over a 30minute walk from the P&B bus stop- not so much fun with backpacks and not mentioned on the website. If you have a car/ bike this obviously will not be an issue. A shuttle/pick up would make such a difference tho. Busses to P-town finish about 8pm so if you go in there for dinner you'll need a taxi home-fairly expensive. Has WI-FI via satellite so not the fastest.Breakfast adequate.

Whole facility needs fans in the windows, especially the male dorm.

Good grief that place was hot, especially the male dorm. A $20 box fan in the window down there and one upstairs might have made it bearable!

Green comment : I have one comment regarding the green print of the hostel. One thing can be improve it is the electricity consumption : All the lights in the living room were on all day even if there was no need at all for it. The day light was bright enough in that room, no need for electric lights. I have to say that I turned off the lights many times during my stay (1 week !). Why spoiling electricity ? I know it is cheap but still... Beside that I had a great stay ! thank you

My stay at the Truro Hostel was amazing. The beach was so close I could almost taste the salt water. I will definitely go back next year. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I highly reccommend this place.
