Nice hostel. I was in the annex, over the tour agency. Breakfast is not included, even though it´s written it is on hostelworld. You have to pay to get one (between 10 and 20 Bs). Breakfast itself is good though I had to keep running after people in order to have it on time before the departure of my tour. I did a 4 days tour with the agency. The tour itself was really good but Freddy (the owner) will tend to skip over the details. Ask questions and ask things to be written down!

We (4 girls) arrived at 23h30 WITH a confirmed booking. He told us there wasn't any reservation, 'because it was only made the day before, so he didn't receive it'. I said I had been travelling for more than 10 months using H.W. and nothing similar EVER happened to me. Then he started complaining about H.W., so I replied that if he doesn't like the system, he can choose not to work with H.W. After argueing for half an hour we got separated... 1 more thing: breakfast is NOT included!!!!

wifi never worked, guest where not aloud to use the kitchen, They have 2 HI hostels in Tupiza so we were separated from our friends. The staff were nice and happy. there are not to many options in this town so it was ok-ish.

This hostel was really disappointing. First of all I told them before that I would arrive at 3am at night and they told me that I could get in. When I arrived, nobody opened the door. Not really a nice feeling standing there alone in the middle of the night! Luckily another hostel was open. After that they fooled me in a very bad way in terms of the tour to salar de Uyuni. So I would highly recommend to do that with another agency!

Actually it's a good place to stay for a fair price. Beds are fine, showers are good, building is nice. Only thing is that the staff is kinda pushy in trying to sell their tours. I think the tours they offer are OK, but would like to choose for myself.

Charging to use the kitchen is insane. Didn't credit us our pre-paid 10%, but they charged us a lower rate so we let it go. Very disorganized. Not up to Hosteling International standards. No breakfast. I would not stay here again.

Hostel was good, but night security(at nights he works like receptionist) was nasty person. We arrived early in the morning and had reservation in that hostel but for the next night. He said that there are rooms but for bigger price than we booked. We paid but next day found out that its price like it should be. It looks like he decided just earn some extra money from us ;-/

When we arrived it took a good fifteen minutes and a phone call to get the actual room we had reserved online. And when we checked out it took another five minutes to get the staff to realise what rate we were meant to be paying. On 3 occasions the door to our room was opened without a knock by the staff. The lack of a shower curtain and the presence of a squidgee is stupid and makes the bathrooms really dirty and wet. The wi-fi works as well as an umbrella made of candy floss. .

Very comfortable single beds in big dorms, but no lockers. Breakfast is good but purchased separately. No common area for meeting travellers. Staff are very helpful and great with organising tours, though they are more expensive than other places, but still great tours.

Amazing staff!! Incredibly helpful. Organised my 4 day Salt Flat trip through the hostel and it was probably the highlight of my trip. No wifi or free breakfast but 2 mins from bus stop and generally great hostel- highly recommended.

A simple clean hostel, staff very helpful particularly Adolpho who went out of his way to help. No real social place to meet other travelers. Lacking a little in atmosphere.

Hostel is right near the bus station which is very convenient. No real common areas or social vibe. Nice big beds with loads of blankets, tv's in rooms and hot showers.

Stayed three nights. My dorm was comfortable and clean, it had five single bed (not bunks -Yay!) and most of my stay it wasn´t fully occupied. Two showers/bathrooms on each floor, I had no problem with hot water. Breakfast is not included, but you can order one of three types. The staff is really helpful and nice with plenty of information about town and local sights; buses to the next destinations and even tried helping me find a place to stay. 7 of us did a Triathlon tour with them = superb.

Friendly staff. But their prime objective is to sell you tour at the time you check in. Apparently they have the good size of business. the price is a bit more expensive than the other guys but not sure if it reflects in the different in service. Everything thing is clean and tidy. my dorm room lock is broken which took them 2 hours to open the door. luckily I am the only one stay in that room.

Clean and nice hostel right behind the Tupiza bus station. Very helpful staff. I would highly recommend it to anybody. If they only had wi-fi available the hostel would be just perfect.

Very nice hostel, super cheap but with lovely rooms (no bunk beds), and very clean shower´s and toilets. I stayed in both branches (theyre about 2 mins walk away), and actually preferred the apartment style one - there were more toilets/showers and a lovely open space in the middle of the building. Would definitely recommend either one though! Oh, but some lockers would be nice...

Well located. Doesn't have wifi but the cabletv is a plus. Has two locations - they are close to each other and both the town center and the busstation. Doesn't really have a commonroom to meet people in.
