Excellent location!BUT i would NOT stay there again, because of the staff at the front desk. All of them answered my questions (i only came up to them with a question two times during my one-week-long-stay) but they were pretty unfriendly in a subtle way. Not like really mean, but they would always give me the feeling like i should know that without bugging them with a stupid question. Especially the tall guy with the very short light hair. Real bad attitude, it gives the place a bad atmosphere.

The staff were very nice and accomadating. There was a mix-up and we were put in a dirty room, but we were apologized to and moved to a new room no problem. The breakfast was pretty good. The bathrooms were nice. If you're looking for an affordable place to stay in Vancouver, this is definitely a good place to stay.

I wish I had've had more people staying in my room while I was there. It was just me and it got a bit lonely.

The staff where very robotic in that they where not very friendly or welcoming. Even though we had a private room we had a Jack and Jill wash room which felt awkward as we did not want to spend a lot of time in the shower, I would prefer just a over all shared bathroom in a hallway. The room was very cold when we got there and had to turn up the heat which took a couple of hours to actually feel like it was working. The breakfast time was short and they would clean up while you where eating.

Very well-located hostel: 5 minutes to Seawall, everything you need on Davie Street (1 block away). Staff very friendly: Signed me up for an HI-membership so that I have to pay less, offered me breakfast although breakfast time was already over, always helpfull with all kinds of questions. There no group activites offered, but one could do a lot of things near to the hostel. Bathromms (on 2nd floor) and rooms very clean. Good wifi everywhere in the building and tea & coffee all day long. Great!

This was my first stay in a hostel! I was impressed! I thought the rooms and the bathrooms were very clean. I was able to easily access the showers and sinks as I needed. I was also impressed with the breakfast selection, and the fact that coffee was available all day. I found most of the staff to be helpful and friendly - with the exception of one of the male staff members - who acted as if I was interrupting his relationship with his cell phone while I was checking out.

I will always stay in this hostel when I come to Vancouver. It's off the main street so it doesn't have all the traffic noise, it's always clean, the staff are super nice and there is loads to do in the area.
