Walking up the hill is quite a mission but then access to the fort is easy. Wifi only works inside the common room. As with the other HIs - feels like a homeless people's shelter rather than a hostel.

Not a bad place. The man that checked me in was very nice and helpful, but then the lady that was working at other times seemed really confused when I returned during the day to the hostel (since check in is at 5) and acted like I wasn't supposed to be there even though the man told I could come and go as I pleased.

It was very disappointing to be able to check in until 17:00 hrs even there was almost no one on the hostel.

Hostel was very close to the bus stop and very close to the castle! The hostel is up the steep hill, but worth it. Very clean and friendly. I visited in the off-season, so I had a entire 10-bed dorm to myself. There were only 5 or 6 other people staying in the hostel, so it was very quiet and clean. The internet worked well, but I don't know if when there are more people, it might be slower. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. I wish there was a kitchen for guest use.
