Once you get up this monstrous hill, the location is really perfect. I could fall asleep looking right at the castle all lit up. Also near the Indian forest with a fun zipline course, and good hiking. Downfalls would be beds are hard, showers are those ones where you have to keep pressing the button every 5 seconds, and there is really no one staying there in the Fall so if you come alone prepare to be lonely. Overall good though. The guy who runs the place is so nice and a good cook.
This was a good value for our money. We had a room that looked out at the Castle which was lit up at night. We were pleased with the hostel. The location is a little difficult to get to because it is all up hill. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good & the staff was very helpful.
Views of the castle Vianden from my window, a 2-minute walk. Also only a few minute walk from many restaurants. I recommend adding more detail to the directions on the wepage to make it easier to find; right on the Main Street, but not In the immediate city center as it states. Great staff
Good, clean hostel right by the castle, easy to find. Not all the staff speaks English.
Walking up the hill is quite a mission but then access to the fort is easy. Wifi only works inside the common room. As with the other HIs - feels like a homeless people's shelter rather than a hostel.
