Great location, good facilities, but far from a party hostel. Then again, Ottawa is far from a party city.

Definately an experience, ear plugs are a must lots of noise from traffic and other inmates. you actually sleep in cells so comfort rating isnt very high.

I stayed only one night but I think it was enough to realize that was the best hostel I ever stayed. It was really clean, excelent located, staff really helpfull and warm (specially the girl who has been in Argentina, which I dont know her name...sorry :)...). Great value for money!!!

Staying in the jail was great but they still charge even though it is reduced for the jail tour. Bathrooms were a bit of a problem as they always seemed to be busy but it is a great place to stay and very near the centre.
