I liked the hostel a lot. It has great air-conditioning, a super friendly and helpful staff and it is located in Silom, which is awesome because you can actually walk outside of the hostel without 3000 people trying to sell you tailored suits or ping pong shows, which is the case if you pick a hostel on Khao San Road.. I would recommend everyone to stay at the HQ Hostel. It has a really nice atmosphere.

HQ Hostel is my only home in Bangkok :-) I've stayed there at least 6 times and it's the only place I will stay at on my each trip to Bangkok. Everything is near, the train, food, good massage places, the bus stop. Thanks for adding the fan to the bathroom :-) And thanks for always helping me out when I am there.

One of the best hostels I've stayed. The bathrooms and the bedrooms are always clean. The beds are huge and very confotables. There is a big common area with playstation, dvd and computers. Finally, the staff is awsome.. really helpful and always smilling. Aim, you are the best!

Had a great time. Very clean, quiet room of a five star hotel accomodation. Very anice and accomodating staff(michael and wife). Its a real home away from home. Very highly recommended. Keep up the great work. All the best.

Even though my stay at HQ was brief, it had everything I needed. It's clean, charming, and the beds are really comfortable. They had really nice computers compared to many of the hostels I used on my trip, and a huge selection of movies to watch when you just need a chill-out day. This hostel isn't on the main backpacker road, which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what experience you're looking for, but it's really near a skytrain station, so that makes getting around easier.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Hostel had some good guides and guests were nice. Beds were comfortable and the blankets were thick. Location is good close to the skyline and the metro. It is also close to all of the bars gay and straight. Gay ones are down the street on Poi 2 (DJ station). Thanks to the friendly staff. I really enjoyed it.

Really lovely hostel - the dorms were a bit short on floor space but the rooms and bathrooms were modern and clean and the communal spaces were spacious with plenty to keep you occupied. The staff were really helpful and friendly. A bit out of the way for cheap drinking and eating, but well located for shopping!

Awesome!! Does what it says on the tin! Local to ALL the night fun in Patpong area and 7/11's all over the place! Baker next door...market over the road..Maccy D around the corner...rooms are a bit cramped if all 10 beds are full though but you can lock your goodies away in the drawers under the bunks. I WILL stay here again if ever I return to Bangkok. Mattress a bit hard for my taste but then I'm a delicate soul!!

This is a really nice and clean hostel. It is in a great location, 30 seconds walk to Silom road. Great place to stay that is away from Khoasan Road. Easy to get around as the BTS is just round the corner. The best beds I have slept in in SE Asia as well. Great place to stay

The staff was really nice. One of the employees really helped me out when I wanted to change into a private room with a friend instead of being in dorm room. It was a bit complicated but she obliged and we really appreciate it.

The staff was amazing!! The airlines sent my bag to New Zealand, not Bangkok, and they helped me out a lot trying to get my back to the hostel. They changed the dates that I could stay for free and very accommodating.

There was building work but the hostel staff made sure it had little impact on guests. Very clean, and worth the money. Free wifi and two computers for usage, which was of very good quality. Not as fun as other places, but still worth staying at.

Fantastic location, right near the BTS and MRT stations. In the center of the business district and near Pat Pong market! Very fun area. Only thing I didn't like about the hostel was the hardness of the beds. They may as well have put paper down as a mattress over the wooden bunk beds. Very uncomfortable beds, but you're in Thailand - who needs sleep anyways?!

Good location, good staff, nice character, very clean, presently quiet (low season). Only two issues; showers are either hot or cold, no in between, and could provide lockers large enough to secure bergans/rucksacks. Nonetheless, highly recommended. :)

The staff and facilities were great it is just very quite with only 4 guests at the time I was staying. The other guests were also older so it was not very social. If you are travelling alone and you want to meet people this is NOT the hostel for you.
