This Hostel provides free walking tours of several of the sites around town. The staff was very helpful in recommending sites to see, restaurants and how to get around town. They were also very helpful and knowledgeable about my future travel locations.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, unfortunately the rooms were not particularly nice, there were no plugs and the restroom were not in a really good shape. The position is good and it look like a secure place. I think that for its price range is ok, but from the reviews (when I stayed there it was the top hostel in Lima) I was expecting a much better place.

Recieved a very warm welcome from Mike and Micha and really enjoyed staying at the HQ villa. They also organized à tour to Central Lima and provider us with good information and bus-tickets for the rest of our trip. I can really recommend this place to anyone.

Very pretty place to stay, staff helpful and free brekkie was a bonus! It's quite far out of the way which means a hearty walk to anywhere decent.

one of the best places I've stayed in over past 5 months in south america very "tranquilo" if you want it to be although it's a big place (I think can fit 40 or so max...) so you can always find fellow travelers and new friends... staff is very knowledgeable and friendly... family run - "mom" and "pop" hang out here - so all is clean and working and nice we booked 5+ tours from here for very competitive prices and had great time free breakfast... free wifi... free towels... free movies...

Had a great time at HQ! It's very laid back and everyone was fun but not too crazy. It's the perfect mix for a hostel. You feel very welcomed upon entering and the staff is there to help 24/7. Some of the rooms are better than others (I stayed in two different rooms), but overall the value for the money is great. The hostel itself is very safe and the young owners are always on site to help with recommendations or even to go out and party or see a movie.

Positives: The kitchen and outdoor area are really great and well equipped and the neighborhood is safe. Negatives: Not very well organized (they switched my room from a 4 bed dorm to a 10 bed dorm because the 4 bed dorm is basically unusable since it has no windows and smells moldy), the hostel is not very clean or secure (anyone can walk into the rooms since there are no locks (there are lockers but you have to ask to use them).

The garden area is great, also the kitchen. BUT, the mattress are really uncomfortable, your back is hurting after one night. And the bathroom is nasty.

The staff are very helpful and the hostel is nice. The only bad point is the breakfast, quite poor... The location is not bad.

Excellent place, close to Miraflores square but in a nice quiet neighbor hood. Lovely courtyard to relax in and nice free breakfast every morning was great. Front staff was very helpful, especially Liz. A couple of problems: the microwave was not working for the 5 days I was there and 1 of the 2 showers in the common bathroom was broken and not repaired.

I was amazed by how beautiful the hostel facilities are. It really is a villa! The staff was super friendly but unfortunately always occupied because there was only one person there at a time to answer everybody's questions (it's a big hostel). Another point of critique is that the internet on the one (!!!) computer they have is so slow it is basically useless. The hostel is very quiet and, in my opinion, lacks some games or social activities in the evenings. Other than that: great place!

We had two night, they did not show us around where everything was,, the music was so loud in every room you got not get away from it. At night very noisy trough the hole night. We could not sleep at all, the matras was bad, we would not stay there again, nice garden , cold shower we did not know how to get it working, we found out in a other hostel to turn on swits.

Very nice hostel, really really clean, pretty neighberhood. Good breakfast. Wi-fi sometimes doesn't work and it's far from historic center but the area is really nice: there is cinema, stores and restaurants near. Taxi to airport (caught on the street) at about 8 pm costed us 35 soles.
