The concept, architecture, and amenities of Habitat Hostel is superb!!!
Still, as an architect, I see some building materials and utilitiesshould be more maintenance-free; so that esier to keep the cleanliness of this place.
However, I claimed Habitat Hostel as my home in Singapore :DThe concept, architecture, and amenities of Habitat Hostel is superb!!!

If you are looking for a nice, quiet, and very clean hostel I would highly recommend HH. Meg & Cheryl are very friendly & pleasant. My only complaint would be the lack of separation between the female/male bathrooms, why separate dorms but not separate bathrooms? Also, very few hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes & not well ventilated. Location is great; perfect to catch bus to the zoo, shop, & convienent MRT (somerset) location...Excellent for a female travelling alone! This is a really great place to stay. It is operated by the owners, two young singapore women and they are very accomodating and friendly. This place is great because it includes many many little extras where another hostel charges you for these things (e.g. free washer, free coffee, free internet, etc). I would highly recommend this hostel. I also liked that it was not filled with drunken 19 year olds like some other hostels, seemed to be a bit of an older crowd here. It's the best hostel I've stayed in and I have stayed in many! I cannot complain about a single thing. The girls that run the place, Mag and Cheryl, obviously know a thing or two about hostels as they are very organised. They were incredibly helpful too! The hostel is very cool, I love the pod beds, free internet and the movie room. It's also clean, organised and perfectly located. Well worth paying a little more to stay at Habitat and be comfortable. I wish all hostels were like Habitat!! It's the best hostel I've stayed in and I have stayed in many! Beds aren't that comfortable and the ventilation in the dorm room is pretty terrible, so it can get hot and stuffy.Beds aren't that comfortable and the ventilation in the dorm room is pretty terrible, so it can get hot and stuffy....Close
