This is the perfethct place to place to stay if you want a more authentic Playa Mexican experience. Its about a half hour walk from the beach so the neighborhood is considerably quieter, cheaper and theres no hawkers offering ridiculously priced goods and services on the street. Local food is cheaper and more traditional than downtown. Close to shops and bars or you can take a free bike or $5peso collectivo to the beach in minutes. Or just chill at the house and swim in the pool!!! Plus staff A+

Fantastic hostel! Seems bit out of town but actually incredibly simple get around in he collectivos for 50 pesos. One of the staff is amazing with a weath of knowledge and advice for the area. Wish I had stayed longer.

Hi, thanks for your great review. It was nice having you here :) Just one small typo Id like to point out: The coletivo (public bus) into the center is only 5 pesos. Hope you enjoy your trip!!

Annette, the current host of the hostel is very, very nice and helpful with everything. There is a very friendly atmosphere in the hostel with barbecues to get to know people better and a small pool to chill and a TV in the common room with a huge selection of movies - in case you don't feel like going out to the city center, which is a bus ride away (MXN-$5 - walking not recommended).

The hostel very average. Bed's weren't comfortable. The location away the tourist crazinessso was. The working was helpful with answering our questions.

My boyfriend and I booked one night and extended twice it was so nice. So did a few other people staying. We were looked after so well by Annette who is also great company. The place was very clean and it a very convenient location. We both wished we could have stayed longer. You get so much more than you pay for.

Best place I've stayed yet. Perfect distance from town so prices aren't too high but only 5 minutes on the collectivo to get to the beach or to party. I could've taken a bike in for free but the collectivo is so easy anyway. Staff were very helpful and organised my tours super cheap for me. They even joined in when I wanted to head out or just chill with a drink. And the pool is awesome! A nice refreshing way to start the day after a big night. I'll definitely be back.
