Location: really central - but up a couple of flights of stairs Really good value, but towel, wifi, locker aren't included - which is perfectly reasonable for the low prices. Breakfast is included which is a big plus Showers, toilets all fine, but could do with a modernisation (think European-style taps) at some point Staff really friendly and chatty, personal touches such as showing me to my room, remembering conversations from day before and saying hi. Great place to stay all in all

Great location, but can be a bit difficult to locate with the scaffolding and construction happening around. Decent place for a short stay / weekend etc. Might not be a great place to meet folks. The breakfast included does not have much options - only bread. Bathrooms / Toilets are reasonably clean and well kept. There is hardly any space in the rooms - roo many beds crammed together. On the whole, a decent place to just crash for a night or two.

The place is very well maintained and immaculately cleaned by Haggis hostel staff who all of which are very helpful. It has all the facilities you require clean beds showers, excellent.Haggis Hostel is located in a very convenient location near princess st so your near everything you need and all the main attractions. I only stayed for a night but will defiantly stay again.

Amazing experience! Not a single complaint. - central location, friendly staff that knows the city well and are more than willing to help, great breakfast included, ample electrical outlets, clean shower & bathroom facilities. Would definitely recommend!

Had a blast here with friends the rooms were clean and the 10 bed room we stayed in was roomy as it could be for a 10 bed room. the only thing I would tell you guys to change is the fact that you have to pay to keep your stuff there especially the amount we paid over the christmas and new year period it was poor in our opinion that we were made to pay for baggage storge apart from that the staff were excellent and the hostel was cleaned all the time and I mean it was pretty much spotless.

Great hostel guys. A very central base to explore most of the city easily. Loved the stay here and Al was super helpful with anything we were interested in or had a query about. Will definitely stay here if I am Edinburgh again.
