Really nice hostel in a great location. Close to everything but in a quiet area. Good kitchen and bathrooms, clean and spacious. Lockers in dorm rooms. Cosy beds with reading light and wall socket! Highly recommended!
Awesome place to stay. The showers are built for short people though.
Wonderful hostel, the best one we stayed in whilst in New Zealand. Stayed in both twin room and dorm room. Twin room was spacious and well equipped (and right opposite the bathroom which was good!) and the dorm room was so comfortable and secure. All the dorm bunks have privacy curtains and lockers which was excellent. Definitely recommended if you are staying in Queenstown!
When we asked staff for directions to drive to one of the near by snow fields (corenet peak) they gave as incorrect directions to the other snow field (the remarkables)! An honest mistake but it did eat into our ski time by driving to the wrong ski resort and they had not listened to us as they had to look the directions up on the Internet! No harm done, just frustrating
Nice hostel, very friendly staff, a friendly Dog called Monty comes to greet people :) A little conjested in the rooms but value for money
Really excellent hostel. Free Wifi, very central location, great security boxes under beds and great staff. Loved it and can't wait to return when im next in Queenstown!

Small rooms but nice and private sleeping arrangement. Well designed for the everyday backpacker. Would stay again for sure
- The entire hostel is very clean and modern. Bathrooms were immaculate and cleaned daily, as were the kitchens. - AWESOME beds - with privacy curtains, storage drawers underneath and personal lights/power next to each bed. This really set it apart from other hostels - My only issue is the pillows - they are too thin. I had to fold mine three times just so it was thick enough to comfortably rest my head. They should provide two pillows, or one that is thicker.
I didn't stay for too long but what I experienced was OK. It is a basic hostel with all of the necessary facilities. The layout is very weird, particularly the common areas which aren't too inviting. The staff were decent (only sometimes way too "bubbly"!). Overall, great but a bit pricey for what is essentially just a basic hostel.
Bec and her javk Russell, Monty, are completely on the ball. Highly recommended.

Amazing hostel! I was lucky enough to find a place in the middle of the Winter Festival, and it was great! Probably the best hostel I've stayed in New Zealand! Will definitely go back!
Staff were friendly and helpful. Bathroom facilities were fantastic, especially after a day on the slops. My partner and I had a very comfortable and relaxed stay at Haka Lodge.
