I was really impressed. Comfortable bed, desk, chairs, and a bathroom/shower all to myself. After having had to share the water facilities at another place for pretty much the same price, that was a huge upgrade for me. The place felt more like a hotel than a hostel, but was much cheaper! It's also easy to get to. You can walk from the station, but the subway stops very close by as well. If I were to go to Fukuoka again (and I want to!) I think I would definitely re-book here.

This hostel was great. I stayed there two times now. Once in the 4 bedroom, and this time in the single room. Eventhough I arrived really late there was someone there to check me in. Great hostel, I plan to stay there now every time I go to hakata. Thanks So much.

Frankly, I couldn't ask for more! Its in a perfect location, surrounded by shops and old temples that are the location of local festivals, and VERY close to the main train station, to the port and on the Kuko (airport) line so directly from there was only 4 stops. It was very inexpensive, yet offered free wifi, free coffee and tea, the bed was cozy and clean, too. One thing - when you emerge from the train station, exit 5, just turn LEFT and walk. It is on your right near the end of the "arcade"

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave me a lot information and leaflets on what I could do around Fukuoka and other neighbouring cities. I stayed in the 4person dorm and it was a bit on the smaller side. Some might find it a bit too claustrophobic if all 4 guests were in. I would recommend this hostel to those who prefer a more quiet atmosphere. The location is a huge bonus as it is located in the arcade and right by Canal City with other attractions within walking distance!

Nice little place, easy to walk everywhere. Didn't stay much time actually in the hostel, as we wanted to explore at night, too, but it was an easy base to get back to and the dorm was really cheap.

Not for a long stay... small rooms, it was an hotel before, so they turned single/double rooms into 4 beds dormitories... But it was ok. Don't expect any great atmosphere though. A clean, quite, safe place to sleep for 1 night. In the room you have hairdryer, torch, slippers, shampoo. And the location is also good, close to the nightlife district, a huge shopping center (canal city), the main shopping area (Tenjin, about 10min) and the station (about 10min).

At a really good location, right next to Canal city, train stations, and the port. Some interesting temples are located right next to the hostel, and supermarkets as well. The hostel is clean and the staff is friendly, though the lounge is only so-so. It's more like a hotel than a hostel in terms of atmosphere but it is really comfortable.

Really nice and helpful staff, however getting to the hostel was quite confusing and hard. Directions were terrible, even when asked for directions to the ferry bus stop, the map was completely off. A lot of guesswork done with the directions. Bright side, it's close to Canal city and FOOD! Lovely room, clean bathroom with the usual trimmings =] Overall lovely stay, even if it was for one night only.
