A very recommended place for doing an overnight in Hakodate. The hostel has been hosted by a very nice pair which will help you as much as they can. In combination with the nice living room it gives a cosy feeling of coming home. Some people will complain about the short but relatively steep hillclimb from the tramstation to the guesthouse: the panorama view you will get in return is unprecedented! Stunning Onsen is just two blocks from the guesthouse, don:t miss that!

Amazing great view spotless fantastic host who left me a piece of cake for breakfast loved it and would recommend

The hostel is very nice, and the staff are very friendly. The instruction on getting there need to clarify a bit more.

So wonderful. The staff was friendly and made me feel right at home. I got to have some really cool experiences here with the people I met. And the location is amazing because you get such an awesome view!!

Really great view, great place, convenient food, really friendly and cute hostess :)

Shiko was a wonderful host. The lounge has the best sea view in Hakodate. Forest running trails behind the Guest House around Mount Hakodate are some of the best I have ever run on. A perfect start to the day, especially when you come back to Shiko's lovely locally-sourced Hokkaido breakfast.. Great place to meet others too. Why stay at at faceless business hotel?

Definitely a nice place. The couple that runs the guest house are nice as well.

Nice treatment, snacks in the same Hostal, but without signs from the last tram station. You can get lost very easy.
