We were a bit disappointed to discover Hak's house was a fair distance outside of town, and would require about a 15 minute walk that I would definitely not be comfortable doing at night. BUT Hak is an amazing host, and anytime we wished to go into town, he arranged a tuk tuk for us at a very reasonable price ($2USD). He was also incredibly helpful in setting up an angkor wat excursion, again at a very reasonable price. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the food is delicious and affordable.

The location they gave us was wrong. They advertised air conditioning but when we got there, they told us that the standard room that we bought only had one ceiling fan (which wasn't even in the bedroom) and if we wanted a/c we'd need to pay extra. Basic breakfast of 2 eggs and bread. The pool area was nice but too shaded so couldn't sun bathe. They don't have a receptionist and they're all asleep by 10pm. We found a used razor in the bathroom. There were no bath towels. Lights&phone didn't work

Very nice Hostel. Very clean and super quite, therefor 20 min walk away from the city center. They offer tours to Angkor Wat etc. And you can get their Tuktuk driver for the whole day for 20$. As well they serve good food and an awesome breakfast. I stayed in the single room with air conditioning. And they have a small, but nice pool.
