Very friendly staff, two minutes to the ocean; delicious meals from the little kitchen; really comfortable bed. A bit hot in the room, but everything else was so good we didn't mind. Highly recommend Hakuna Shida Guesthouse.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hakuna Shida - it was the best location in Paje for everything - Kitesurfing, restaurants and a few steps away from one of the best beaches in the world. Hakuna Shida offers great food and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this guesthouse to anybody! Loved it!

Good location a 50 m from the beach. Near the only supermarket of the town

Good location but rooms have not air conditioning and fans are not efficient, single beds are not comfortable, water in the pool is murky and the owner does not act in the fairest way. Nice staff though but strange atmosphere.

Hakuna Shida is a paradise. A great place for relaxing (right next to the beach and has a great public area and a fantastic cook so you don't ever really have to stray far) and great for Paje fun (Jorge is awesome at helping coordinate activities in the area). I wound up spending most of my three days there blissfully relaxing.

Great place to stay. Jorge is a really nice guy and very helpful too. Anything you need he can help you with. The place is small, quiet, and clean. The guesthouse is still new (only been open about seven months) so there are a few things that are still in the works such as WiFi but as we were leaving Jorge said that he had a guy coming out to set it up. Since the guesthouse is new, Jorge welcomes suggestions on things he can do to improve the place. You must try to house made ceviche!
