had an amazing time here! close enough to walk to everything, close to propeller brewrey, fun staff, amazing food in cafe. bad water pressure! only place i would stay in halifax

The hostel has a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere. I stayed in a mixed dorm and the room itself, the beds, sheets, lockers, etc. were nice and clean. The Staff was welcoming and helpful (fixed a broken locker right away, gave us great tips where to go in the area). Just cats sitting on the toilet seat (especially when their fur looks messy as if they have flees) is not very sanitary!

The rooms were clean and functional. The door to the room I stared in was loose and didn't close properly. The free internet access was very helpful as it allowed me to keep in touch with friends and family while I was away.

The location and staff were excellent, however the bedding and general cleanliness of the hostel could have been better.

Very friendly staff, they were awesome! The hostel itself however was quite run down and not super clean. It's alright if you don't mind roughing it!

Stayed with 5 Venturer Scouts and 1 Leader, comfortable and friendly. Great Staff kept us well informed and told us of attractions and great places to eat, thanks for the tip on the Rogues Roost and nacho's!! The common room and kitchen was great for the younger Scouts to learn about other cultures. And as a leader I felt safe lettting the kids have the run of the place. We will be back again.....

Great enviornment, very welcoming

The people are helpful, fun, but it`s the dirtiest and more disorganised hostel I have visited. I have just slept one night and went away.

I had such a great time at this hostel, great atmosphere with fun and friendly staff :)

Rooms are a bit hot but nothing an opened window can't fix. Staff are great and really helpful. Stayed here for 5 nights and if I'm ever back in Halifax I'd definitely come back here. Great atmosphere and the location isn't too far from downtown, all up a pretty good hostel.
