Welcome to Hllefors Hostel & Canoe-center 'lghornet', North of rebro, just between Stockholm and Oslo. Hllefors is surrounded by many lakes, rivers and forrest.
Many people use our central location and facilities for a travelbreak and visiting the interesting area, which is typical for the 'Heart of Sweden'. Perfect place to visit a country village which is surrounded by beautiful nature and wilderness. Even centrally situated to visit the Hllefors Sculptureparks, Grythyttan/Mltidens Hus and Nature reserve Knuthjdsmossen. And especially are many travellers interested in the Svartlven-river, where on you have to experience at least one Canoe-or Kayak-adventure, which you'll never forget! Also bikes and wildlife-equipment for hire.
In winter you can participate in the popular ice-sculpture workshops or undertake a cross country ski-tour. Or visit Hllefors Icefestival 'Isstjrnan' in February.
