Very friendly staff - I was given a better room than I booked at the same price. The place is located right at the more peaceful end of the peninsula and the monks walk right past it for their morning alms. The wifi was good, and air-con perfect. At some places the windows are just wooden shutters keeping the whole room dark if you use a/c and don\'t want mosquitos - here they have glass in the windows so you can open the shutters and enjoy some natural light without heating up the room or letting in pes

Apart from the noise (dogs barking and monks banging drums at 4am - you will not sleep through this) the thing I would like to say most is that a room needs to have things in it like somewhere to hang clothes. This (double) room had nothing except the bed and one chair. Also the water was off one night too. The drumming apparently only happens 4 times/month. So be warned choose a hostel well away from the temples if you are around at new/full/half moon nights.
