Hamakas has very basic facilities but sometimes that's all you need. Very little atmosphere but the courtyard was a nice place to chill. The wifi was good and the hostel was very secure; had lockers but also someone had to let you in every time so not anybody could walk in. Good location, 5 minutes down one street to the square. Not the most amazing hostel but was great value for money and I stayed a week there as it had everything I needed.

A completely average hostel. Nothing special to complain about (except it would be better if it had more than two bathrooms, and that the free coffee tastes horrible), but not an outstanding place neither.

Basic, easy walking distance to town centre / supermarket etc. Staff were polite but didn't offer any advice or suggestions. Rooms / bathrooms were clean - beds had clean but very old sheets and pillows and matresses were protected with garbage bags which wasn't a problem, but a little noisy. Overall, for what we paid, we were happy with our stay. Good WiFi. Cold showers but they were welcome!

Hamakas isn't a bad place if you are travelling on a budget. The building is located of the main stretch by a few blocks and the employees warn you to travel along the main road (more lights) since people have been robbed in the pass. I personally had no issue. The rooms are fine with two shared washrooms, unfortunately if someone who is connected to main washroom they can forget to unlock the door and keep you out for a while. The employees are decent, they don't always give off a happy vibe.

Staff is unfriendly but the hostel itself is pretty especially the inside garden with hammocks. Be carful at night we got robbed just in front the door step.

This is a small hostel with a dorm room and a few single rooms. The big up is the good location and the low price. The staff and facilities are OK with Nicaragua standards, nothing to complain about there. Kitchen is small and not very clean but once again, this is Central America and everything that is functional is perfectly fine in my opinion. Days in Granda are very hot so the Hamakas were a blessing! The only downside is the atmosphere that is non existing, no hostel vibe what so ever.

DON'T STAY HERE! Upon arrival cleanliness was less than adequate. Kitchen was so filthy that I had to scour the countertops just to put grocery bags on!! So, OK you get what you pay for right? I've been traveling for a good while under many sets of circumstances but the room rented wasn't worth the low dollars paid!! Mattresses were covered with trash bags and duck tape which only added to the already less than desirable overheated, lack or air moving thru room.Staff is RUDE!!

hostel is really chill. single rooms are super nice, and dorms are too- single beds, not bunk beds. hostel is a bit hot and is stuffy without fan. ktichen is well stocked. vibe is super chill- quiet place, if you want a rager, this isn't the place for you. i wound up staying here twice i liked it so much. they also offer laundry services. there is always a security guard there at night and door is locked whenever guest comes or goes- very safe. not right inthe hustle of the central park but clos

Nice and very clean Hostel, close to the center, allthough everything is close in Granada. In this price category you shouldn't complain anyway.

las hamacas was a pleasant place to stay. Myself and my girlfriend were given a 2 bed dormitory which was handy as we effectively had a private to ourselves. The hostel is very chilled and a quiet atmosphere. Kitchen was well kitted out... but they have matches for the stove so bring your own! Same goes for oil. It does the job and pretty much the cheapest place in town.

My favorite hostel in Granada for the money. That was my 3d time in Hamacas. So the next time it will be Hamacas too
