Guests are made welcome and to feel at home and use any facility. Home - made muesli is offered (free) for breakfast. Guests can come and go freely with own room key and can even book in early or leave a case for a day or two if that helps. The feel is more like a B&B. I would have liked to stay a few more days. Steve, like many in Fishguard is a friendly guy. It's a nice, safe place to stay and very close to banks, pubs and shops.

located near the bus station, the hostel was easy to find, though I was a bit baffled when I first got there because I thought nobody was there (might have to knock the door a bit hard). the bed was big and the mattresses good. I was able to use the nice old fashioned kitchen (I say 'old fashioned' because it had a few vintage-ish characteristics, but it is equipped with all the modern devices of course, including the biggest microwave I've ever seen) and help myself with bread, spreads and tea.

Steve was great, the place was clean, tidy, comfortable, Steve was approachable and informative. Right next door to a great pub, would definitely stay there again. Fishguard is a beautiful place with great scenery.

We really enjoyed our stay here - it was the perfect beginning and end to our four day trip to the Pembrokeshire Coast. Perfect location - not too far from the port and very close to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, and right in the centre of Fishguard. Very friendly and helpful guy running the place. We'll definitely be back.

It was good but the house seems at a private home so the staff seems disappointed.
