The dining room and other public places isn\'t very clean. The bethroom is okay. The staff is nice. There is a short distance from bus s top. However, the frequency of the buses arrived there is less. So we have to spend time in waitIng for the buses. This area is more safe than downtown I think, but far way from the go transit station, not so convenient.

I made many hostels in Europe and one in San Francisco, this one is on the bottom of my list. There is only one bathroom to share with all the guests (male & female) and it is really small. I saw people going to the kitchen to get ready in busy morning. The door of our room was really noisy Almost no contact with the staff. For me the best thing was the location, you can do everything by walking or taking the bus.

I initially booked for 3 days, but stayed for almost 2 weeks. It was great to get to know the people staying there, and the owner Tim was great. Very interesting to talk to, and he obviously enjoys being connected to the backpacking experience. Hamilton seems to have a good music scene with lots of live acts around.
