Just like the sister Hostel, this Hostel is amazing! :) And it is even cheaper! Our private room was like in a real hotel, we totally enjoyed our stay. The map provided by the hostel helps a lot to get around the town. But be careful - the panda tour is not possible at the moment, as the park is closes...

Stayed here for about 8 days and had a lovely time. Took their group terracotta tour and met other travelers from the sister hostel down the road. Lovely cafe in the lobby where it's easy to meet others and also a supermarket across the street and lots of local places in the same alley. Everything is clean and very comfortable.

A really nice place right in the centre of Xi'an. The facilities are great, particularly for the amount of money you pay for them. Their tour to the Terracotta Army was also really great value.

We arrived early from Beijing on the sleeper train. We were greeted with a free lift from the hostel. The reception staff's English was very good. We wanted to go on a terracotta warriors tour but one was due to leave 5 minutes ago, she got the tour to wait a minute and escorted us to the bus so we didn't get lost. Exceptional

Location in a local, if a bit grubby, side alley is attractive for access and authenticity, and you are very close to transportation and the muslim quarter. The staff are a bit flustered and disorganised, having not kept a record of the changes in my booking. I stayed in the Han Tang Inn, which is the sister hostel on the same street. It has a bar and western food, but due to the location you can easily get cheap and delicious local street food and drinks from the store opposite.

Great spot, next to the centre of town (5min walk) and 20rmb rickshaw to the station (too close for cabs and this way is a real experience)! The lane is quiet enough and has some excellent places to eat too - believe it or not. There's a hot pot spot next to Facebook Hostel and our beloved Steamed Bun Lady at the end of the lane when heading towards the centre - play the bun lottery for 1rmb a piece and enjoy more fillings than you can shake a stick at.

Our room was great, there were lots of trips on offer and the location is perfect. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help.

Clean and friendly. The Han Tang house is on a quiet street with a bunch of street food vendors. Centrally located, it's an easy walk to the metro or even to any of the city gates/wall. The mixed dorm was clean and well equipped-working AC, private shelves by the bed, with an outlet, and lamp. Bathrooms, showers, and sinks were as clean as to be expected-added bonus was the rainforest shower head. Laundry service was great also. Overall-very pleasant stay-would recommend.

Awesome hostel and staff. Bar downstairs is convenient and location is perfect. Beds were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the terra cotta warriors tour at the hostel.

Quirky location and very nice rooms&bar. staff was very helpful and pleasant. House looks a bit sketchy from the outside but great as soon as you walk in. Just a short stroll away from metro, bell and drumtower.

Wonderful hostel - more like a boutique hotel with a backpacker vibe and great staff. Only downside was the terrible WiFi connection - could really do with an overhaul. If this is fixed, the hostel will be perfect!

Super comfy bed and also great that you can use the sister hostel's facilities - pool table

staff was too oushy to buy the terracotta warriors toue, but beaides that the place and location is great. porbably the beat mattresses in china!

This was a great place to stay and definitely the best of our 3 week trip through China. Rooms are very large and nice and it feels like a hotel rather than a hostel. The bathroom was perfect and price is also quite good. We used the free pickup service from the train station and that was very useful. Furthermore the main attractions of the city are on walking distance from the hostel. Lastly, the staff was very helpful and all speak english quite good.

Hostel located in quite a dingy street but location good for visting most of Xi'an. Overall experience was good but didn't find staff particularly friendly. Bathroom clean by Chinese hostel standards. Laundry service very good and staff helpful and friendly. Reception staff polite but not particularly friendly or welcoming. Bar played really bad music, really loudly. Perhaps if you enjoy Justin Bieber or Norah Jones then you'd enjoy this. Lacked any atmosphere

The staff (except from one friendly girl) is rather unfriendly, it seems they do not really want to give you information. If you get an answer it is quite short. The rooms are clean and big, the beds comfortable. The restaurant downstairs is overprized (including drinks), but anayway the food is okay.

Good food, good people. This was a really nice hostel spend a few nights in Xi'an! Really nice bar area with live music sometimes! Highly recommend this hostel!

The beds were comfortable (all provided with a reading light and small shelf), the staff was quite helpful and the bathroom was clean and good.

Good location, easy access to transport to various places of interest. Staff friendly and helpful although not all requests were understood or completed (eg. location of pick-up for bus 306 to warriors, making-up bed for my stay). Appreciated offer of free watermelon at the end of a very hot day. Dorm bathroom could be cleaner. More space needed to dry clothing items.

These beds were the most comfortable beds I slept in during my entire stay in China, which includes an expensive hotel as well. Although the food and tours are obviously overpriced, I really liked both anyway. The staff was really friendly, even helping me out at the supermarket opposite to the hostel. The bar is really nice and even though there is live music now and then, you are not bothered by the sound when you want to go to bed early.
