Very loud and busy in the bar when we arrived at 11pm from Xian via bullet train and subway. But our room was lovely and quiet. Staff were extremely accommodating as we were leaving the next day by train and wanted a tour of the terracotta warriors. They had a tour advertised and helped us to be able to go; because of our tight schedule they arranged for the tour driver to drop us at the station on the return trip to the hostel. We would really have loved to stay longer at this hostel :)

More of a hotel than hostel, which is great news for guests. The rooms were very spacious and the beds very comfortable. The bathrooms also had great showers with plenty of hot water. The food in the cafe was good but a bit expensive. Easily one of the very best hostels we visited in China.

The rooms were lovely basically hotel standard but the staff werent very receptive. One member Michael was helpful and friendly but the rest seemed to consider us a chore to deal with. The drinks and food prices were very expensive the location was ok within walking distance of the drum tower and the muslim quarter.

We had a double room and it was great. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Wifi worked fine (even on the fourth floor, while a sheet in the room told it only worked in the lobby). Beautiful bathroom with a rain shower. Staff was very friendly. Only the luggage room wasn't locked, which feeled a bit uncomfortable and the food and drinks in the bar were really expensive for a hostel compared to other hostels in China.

First, we reserved 8 female room. But when we arrived, they gave us mix room!!! even they don't sorry to us! Second, next day, when they gave us bed number, there are a woman who already used the bed. But staffs avoid their responsibility. They already made two times mistakes to us, but they don't understand why we are angry. Also, they don't apologize their mistakes to us. I really can't understand their services. Except staffs' services, the facilities of hostel are good.

Excellent place to stay! Maybe find a place to put a "quiet" hang out/chill out place. Couches and wifi without all the noise and smoke if you can! Other than that, loved it.

The hostel looks like a hotel, the facilities are really very nice but the breakfast and dinner are expensive but veeeery good the music of the bar goes until 23pm... so if u are not the party person.... but if u are a solo traveller i really reccomend... the bar is really really nice and fancy ! i really liked this hostel, the best i stayed in china so far ps the beer in the other han tang (same owner) 50m away costs half of the price but the bar is not so nice as in this one

They have a bar which had live music on Friday and Saturday night which was good, the drinks weren't very cheap however. they were very helpful setting up trips and with directions, it was very central.

Great place. The live music is very loud in the evening though, in case you feel like just chilling in the bar area (and actually have a conversation with someone).

Staff were very friendly and went out of the way to help out when required. Mikki and Rose were a real good laugh.

This was the best hostel I stayed in in China in terms of rooms, cleanliness and service. The softest beds and excellent showers. The hostel bar is also a cafe and it doesn't have an 'authentic Chinese' atmosphere if you are looking for that, but you always meet people. I took the tour to the terracotta warriors from the hostel which was good and fun! Two thumbs up!

nice value for money place. However I arranged for a free transfer from the train station to the hostel but no one came to pick me up and I had to make my own way to the hostel.
