This hostel is often compared favourably to a hotel, particularly for their clean, ensuite rooms featuring comfortable beds. There are a number of free things to do around the hostel, including free Chinese lessons, free weekly dumpling parties and free use of their mahjong, chess sets and guitar. We like their helpful, English-speaking staff.

The new Han Tang House is the sister hostel to both the Han Tang Inn Youth Hostel and the shuyuan Hostel. Located just a short 100m from the Han Tang Inn within walking distance to all major attractions and interesting spots of Xi'an . It provides the same reputable great service and environment, but with even more to offer...
The Han Tang House is the 4th generation hostel of this companys 11 year legacy, offering the services and quality of 4 star hotel rooms combined with friendly hostel service and homely social environment.
We appreciate the importance of clean facilities therefore we'll be cleaning all day long, making sure everything is spotless.
All the rooms have a private bathroom even including the dorm rooms!

Really a great place. Cleaner, newer, and nicer rooms than many of the hotels I have stayed in the US, the only difference is that you share the space with others. The staff are great, with many speaking english. The location is prime, literally perfect. Close to all the sights, buses, and trains, but off the beaten path. Try the food and chwar in the hutong it is some of the best and cheapest I have had in big city in China. The downside is the wifi is only in one area, but you can\'t have all.

Excellent facilities, friendly helpful staff. Most comfortable clean bed. Spotlessly clean. Recommend visit to the roof terrace of the nearby sister hostel. Room price very reasonable. Ancillary services a bit on the pricey side. One flaw, some pressure from 1 staff member to take their tour to warriors rather than going on local transport. Otherwise, perfect!
