This hostel was good, the rooftop terrace was awesome and the tours were great too. Only negative was the staff at reception, while some of them were occasionally helpful, I got annoyed when i'd be in the middle of booking something or asking a question and they'd either start talking to someone else or answer the phone while you're mid sentence, i'd then have to wait for ages for them to finish their phone conversation so you can resume what you were trying to ask! I found it really rude!
Buzzing hub of activity with loads of different people, clean and air conditioned rooms. Nice place to stop for our 3 nights
super friendly staff and very good english. good tours and facilities, I had a private room - it was more like a hotel room than a hostel which was great albeit a little expensive
Really helpful and social able staff. Clean dorms and good food.
Second stay at this hostel and it's just as I remembered. Clean, friendly and relaxing. Love that roof top garden! Perhaps my only suggestion would be to put in a brighter light in the bathroom so you're not left shaving in the dark (dad found it difficult it the lighting there and I'd have to agree)
Everything here was wonderful. Friendly and super helpful staff. Nice common areas (especially the rooftop garden). Breakfast options in the hostel were cheap and quick. I stayed in a two person room which felt more like a hotel than a hostel (which was great!). Good showers with hot water. Everything was clean. The tours were easy to book and enjoyable. The airport pickup was also fantastic, as our arrival was very late (3am). Good location, too. No complaints!
This was a great hostel! We loved the decor, with all of the handwritten or drawn notes from people around the world. The hostel was helpful in finding transportation to places throughout the city (as a note however, I speak Chinese). The room was clean. We wished we could have spent more time in Xi'an and more time meeting people/exploring the hostel itself!

Very friendly staff, willing to help and give any information required.
It's a good place, not far from the station. And the people there are nice.
Hostel is perfectly situated for a good price. Rooms are nice and bathroom is clean. Very nice atmosphere downstairs but also on the roof top!
staff very friendly and helpful
Great location, Great Staff and if you like street food there is a local "Chuanr" stall (Meat on a stick) right next to it that also sell beers for 8 RMB
Leilei is my boy. Awesome stay.
Very nice hostel, good location and everything you want and need. However I will make a small comment about the poor birds (top floor) which are closed in a small cage with no water or food. That made me dislike the hostel a bit, but that's just me.
Good hostel with decent street food in close proximity. Shower and room were good as well.
Great hostel! One tip: going to the Terracotta warriors and Tomb of Emperor Jingdi on your own are much cheaper and than going on the Hostel tour. The Jingdi museum is not crowded and you can use Lonely Planet for advice on which bus to use.
Excellent hostel - facilities and atmosphere is superb
Staff were extremely helpful and spoke great English. About a 5-10 minute walk from the Muslim quarter which is one of the main attractions of Xian! Got cleaned every day we stayed and good wi-fi connection :) quirky hostel!
I had a great experience at this hostel. Even before I arrived I had emailed the staff to organise a tour and they were very helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this hostel and their tours. My only complaint about this hostel is that the shared washroom in our dorm room was always damp and smelt of mold - I totally understand this happens all over Asia, but it may be worth putting up a sign to ask guests to leave the fan on until the the washroom dries out.
