Staying here was my first experience with a hostel and it was excellent. The staff here were very helpful and flexible with changing our rooming arrangements, and the Western-style breakfasts and general hostel-atmosphere were great.

My friend and I loved this hostel! The facilities are great, and the location could not have been better. We were a short walk from all the attraction in Xi'an, and they organized for a group of us to go see the Terracotta Warriors.

Pretty nice hostel, but the drain in the bathroom didn't work well so you were standing in water during your shower. The internet was also pretty inconsistent, but you can walk down the street to their sister hostel Han Tan House to use theirs. The other hostel also has a better bar, but this one has a very nice rooftop common area.

Nice hostel, staff competent and helping, speaking a good English. Hostel very well located, and good quality for the price. Rooms are clean andno noise, You have to rent your towel for 5 yuan and no soap in the bathroom. Beers are a bit expensive.

Very good typical big hostel, very clean rooms, nice beds and linens, all the facilities you would expect. The staff were great and went out of their way to help me move dorm room when I complained about a family with a small baby staying there (surely families with infants should be expected to stay in a private room, no?). The location has character and is close enough to the major things you need. Only (minor) complaints would be the slightly high price of the room and the tours on offer.

Free pick up from train station took the hassle out of finding the hostel. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Quiet at night. Roof garden, an oasis of calm.

The room was very nice and clean, the staff was helpful. It's located in walking distance to the bell tower, the drum tower and the Muslim quarter. Good English spoken. The Western breakfasts were quite tasty.

We were only supposed to stay for one night, but we missed our flight (I forgot my passport in my room). Fortunately they had it there waiting for me at the front desk when we got back to the hostel. The staff was super accommodating in helping us rebook the flight, and even got us a decent rate considering the booking was last minute. We booked another room with no hassle, and some of the staff even bought us some fruit as a gift! This place has the friendliest people we've met in China!

very nice hostel in downtown area of Xi'an. about 10 minutes walk to subway at Bell tower (zhong lou) station. near to shuttle bus to airport too. Have took a tour to terracotta warrior and musoleum of Qin Shi Huang emperor. the musoleum actually only a hill surrounding by trees. our tour guide said it will took around 25 years to discover what are inside the tomb. recommended hostel.

I really like this hostel. Cozy, clean! wow. never ever saw like this in China! But there was one thing I didn't like. The lady staff in the reception didn't care what I booked. I booked female dorm (this is the main reason I decide to stay in this hostel), but got the mixed dorm, yeah it was OK to stay with guys though. Most of staff were really friendly and helpful but didn't like to talk in reception;; unfriendly with no smile.
