The location is not super central but it the hostel is located in walking distance to the city center. Therefore it is close to cheap, small restaurants with delicious food (try the self-made noodles in the small restaurant exactly on the other side of the street!). The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly.
Average - good accommodation, good staff, but nothing spectacular. It's clean, has everything you might need, and apart from the food that's overpriced and the wifi that was practically useless, there's not much to complain about. However, it's not one of those hostels you'd just love to come back again. I could stay there again, but would most probably try out a different place
SPOILT at this hotel with all the facilities / cosy atmosphere. One of the nicest ones I've stayed at, definitely in China. High recommendation to go here.
It feels more like a hotel but with a hostel spirit..nice rooms (we booked a private room actually), great rooftop terrace (even have a spa but didn't try it out), and they do have a bar and restaurant downstairs...one of the biggest upsides was the location just few minutes walk to the Bell tower, drum tower and muslim quarter. The organised Terracotta tour with their sister hostel was wonderful. even though we were 29 on the tour, but the guide we had was really great and nice... stay here!!
Staff were very friendly. They were very helpful in booking us on a tour. They were relaxed and helpful. Hostel was clean and tidy. Our room was good value for money. (Twin room private)
Nice and friendly hostel. Close to the metro, bell and rum tower and the moslim quarter. Hostel staff booked train tickets for me but almost lost my laundry haha hut they even cut my hair ;). Would definately stay there again!!
Staff very helpful and friendly, food very good, a lovely place to spend time and relax. Thank you.
Perfect place to stay in Xi'an.
Cold beer was nice!

Very nice hostel with a lot of different common rooms, good food and good tours. The only down point is the very smelly bathroom which could be cleaner.
This place was amazing. The bathroom was modern and the beds were comfortable. One of the staff there called leilei made me feel very welcome and answered any questioned I had. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have enjoyed myself as much. He showed me around and made sure I had everything I needed.
The hostel staff is very helpful and speaks good English. The location the city center is great. The room (6 bed dorm) was very small though, not leaving much space for any luggage. I would go there a again.
The staff were really nice. The terra cotta army tour was also good.
The most helpfull and lovely staff you could imagine. Cosy place and lovely atmosphere. Only regred we couldn't stay longer :)
Great hostel!! Excellent staff and location!! Thanks for everything.
I stay in twin bedroom on the 3rd floor for 3 nights. It was great. Everything was fine. I booked the Tang Dynasty Dance show with the hostel and a staff brought me there by tuk-tuk. It was fun. Thank you. It was handy that there is a restaurant/bar/café on the ground floor where we could buy water and eat something.
We booked a private room here and it was more like a hotel than a hostel. Great value for money. The food served in the hostel was great, and the staff were very helpful even when there was a mistake with our booking. You can leave your bags here during the day and they allowed us to check in early. Tip: make your own way to the terracotta warriors. The hostel tour is overpriced as you can take a regular tourist bus straight there from the train station for just 7 yuan.
Some of the time, it was quite noisy but after 11PM, it seemed to quiet down.
Comfortable beds in dorms, with nice en-suite (but means only one person can shower/pee at a time). Nice spaces on roof and downstairs with good food at reasonable prices, but does get damp in the rain and thus biting bugs are a problem - you'll need long sleeves and mosquito repellent. Staff friendly and helpful but DIY the trips to terracotta warriors/ hua shan etc - they are easy to get to, you're on your own schedule and its much cheaper.
