Had an amazing two nights here. The staff were so friendly. It's just little things like remembering your names and calling people to sort your travel tickets and yours. The room was very clean and comfortable with a really nice mixed atmosphere in the lobby. I can imagine it's even better in the summer with the rooftop. The only negative point I have is the food at the hostel is quite expensive and you don't get a very big portion. Loverly food just not a lot on the plate. Still a 5* hostel!!!
Great Hostel! Everything was good.
Good hostel with great bar and restaurant. I stayed in a private room to rest up in between train trips and my stay was very comfortable, im sure the dorm rooms would be nice as well. The bathrooms are a little small and strange - the shower is an open area with a drain in the bathroom floor, which means the floor and toilet is always wet, but still manageable. Tour to the terracotta warriors was well worth it. Would definitely recommend Hang Tang Inn.
This was the best hostel we stayed in in China. 6 bed dorms with an ensuite were clean and comfortable, the showers were hot. Room could have been warmer but it snowed during our visit. The staff were helpful and spoke good english, organised tours for us, did our washing, provided us with a plug adapter, memory card reader, hairdryer and other extras. The dumpling/drinking parties were fun and the food served was of a good standard. The location was great, reach the city in 5mins on foot.
The staff there are great and really helpful. The food and drinks are pretty good, and they have great daily specials. The location is ideal for getting around the city, the subway is close by and the two large towers are walking distance away. I would definitely come back.
I genuinely cannot fault this hostel. The rooms were basic but comfortable, it was nice to have a strong and hot shower for a change!! I also did the Terracotta Warrior tour which was pretty good. The tour guide was funny but eager to keep moving all the time. The best thing about the hostel was definitely the staff, they were all super friendly. Especially Lei Lei, he came and had long conversations with everyone and introduced travellers to each other - he also hosted the beer pong. FREE BEER!
Great hostel, great location. We did the terracotta warriors tour and it was really good, the guide was really friendly and helpful, and the place she took us for lunch was delicious and cheap. The hostel food and drinks we're cheap but good, recommend the almond milk! Dorms were clean, beds comfy.
The service in the hostel was excellent and the staff were very kind and helpful.
Had a wonderful time at this hostel. The double room felt like a hotel and it was so clean and spacious. The Terracotta Warrior Tour was great and our guide was really funny. It's only a short walk from the Metro St and about 15 min walk to the Muslim Quarter so everything is very accessible. There is also a stunning roof top area that would be perfect for warmer weather. The staff were excellent and had an answer to every one of my questions. Great place highly recommended!!
Great location, easy to get to using public transportation . Staff were vey friendly and provided great restaurant recommendations and directions

Really one of the best hostels i´ve been to!
I thought the rooms were great - good room, clean, warm and quiet.
I love this hostel , the staffs are great and friendly , I booked a dormitory but something is wrong with the booking so the staff just upgrade me to a private room ! , there is many things to do in the hostel , Chinese chess , Ping Pong ,etc etc. One of the best hostel I ever stayed !
Great hostel! Centrally located! Close to bell tower and city wall. Hired bikes on the city wall which was really good. Terracotta tour is a little expensive, we did it all ourself for half the price and was vey straight forward! But a great hostel with good atmosphere.
Great hostel, our triple room was lovely and clean. The staff were very helpful. The food is quite pricey compared to restaurents but still good.
Great hostel with a good location, but is down a small quiet ally of main roads. Very clean and well presented rooms/facilities.
I had a great time at the hostel and met some wonderful people. Even ended up staying here a second time on my trip because I needed somewhere to crash for the night. The free train station pick up was a treat (they will even give you a free drop to the train station if they happen to be heading that direction!) and the location was pretty great. Walking distance to Muslim Quarter and the Drum and Bell Towers. The staff were helpful and friendly.
There was a bad pipi smell in the bathroom. We asked to clean and they did but it was still smeling like that.... it was the only "but" for the place bcz we like it very much.
Very good position, it's very easy to access and to go to the Drum
We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff is really friendly and helpfull. They organise trips, but it is a lot easier to go by yourself. Food market is close and it is easy to find. Bus to trainstation is cheap. Rooms are nice, China clean, so that's ok.
