Great location, good breakfast provided, nice rooftop garden...only one but with a good and bad side: If you want to sleep - top: They take well care. If you want to party and drink a late beer with intensive "fun intensive" (loud ;-) discussions...better go out in town...

Great value hostel in a great location, good restaurant/bar/communal areas, helpful staff, clean rooms. The terracotta warrior tour was a bit overpriced, particularly when you were stuck adding another 30RMB lunch per person. Other than that, highly recommended

This was a nice place with a good atmosphere. Our double room felt more like a hotel than hostel. Super clean. Nice area of town, close to most things there. Breakfast was overpriced.

When you first walk into the hostel's street, you can think it is not he good one. But when you go inside, you can feel the warm atmosphere inside! And just go upstairs on the roof to be very happy to choose this hostel! everything was perfect! Even if their price for their tours are quiet expensive...

The staff were really friendly and their level of English was outstanding. The trips on offer were also good value for money.

We had a fantastic stay at Han Tang Inn! The pickup from the train station was fantastic and very organized. The hostel had a lot of character and a great roof top to relax on. Unfortunately the internet only worked in the lobby but we have been finding that all over China so I suppose that shouldn't have been a shock. The hot water was not working our first day and although disappointing they sent us to their new hotel up the road which was beautiful!! Great place to stay in Xi'an!!

Excellent place to stay to meet other travellers. Lots of activities on offer and a really cool roof terrace. Overall value was fine but we felt breakfast was overpriced. If you are really on a tight budget there are lots of options for tasty streetfood for pennies really near by.

If your looking for a quiet chilled atmosphere is hostel is, if your looking to get pished every night the one further down the street is more suitable. The rooms are very good, clean, comfy, decent a/c. There some nice events here like the dumpling party where you make and eat your own dumplings. The only downside to this hostel is that the staff arent as helpful as compared to the other hostel on the street where my friend stayed. Do your outing bookings through them as there english is better

Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in! The hostel itself was very clean, had a great location and the staff were excellent. The atmosphere was brilliant, a lot of travellers stay here so it's very easy to meet people in either a dorm, the lobby or the rooftop area! If i was ever in Xi'an again, i would definately stay here!

No wireless Internet in the room. Good cheap beer and food. Please warn in advance when overbooked as we were in two double rooms for first night instead of triple room.

Awesome! Rooms are more like a hotel than a hostel, located in the city centre within walking distance of many of Xians sights, they offer a lot of tours, firendly staff, great place to stay!

Terracotta Warrior tour was overpriced and if I'd known it was going to be twice the cost quoted to me in January (220 RMB in Jan 2012, now 380 RMB May 2012) I would have probably chosen to go on my own. While our guide Zha Zha was good we felt the lunch offered in the tour was very overpriced as well since rarely spent 30 RMB/pp for meals except at our three most fancy meals during 2 wks in China. Movies were difficult to watch with the music at the bar.

This is a great little hostel, lively, helpful staff, fabulously located right near everything yet provides a little oasis at which to chill out when you need to. My room was comfortable, simple but clean and lovely to be given a towel. A reading light would have been a nice extra but really it was terrific.

We loved staying here! Had a great double room, but mostly spent our time on the fantastic roof terrace. A really good place to hang out and meet people, loads of fun! Staff were really helpful & friendly. Did terracotta army tour which was also very good with lovely tour guide. Handy location within walking distance of many sights but really close to the Muslim Quarter which was a great place to wander & eat delicious cheap food! Would definitely stay here again!

A great hostel with great staff. Everyone there is exceptionally helpful and try to get to know the guests. The rooms are clean and the location is on a great little street with some fantastic and cheap local restaurants. There are activities every night to help bring travelers together.

Unfortunately they didn't have our Hostel World booking. But they found a room for us in their new Hostel accross the road. It's only 6 months old and very well fitted out. I would definitely recommend staying at this Hostel, it felt more like a 4* hotel in the room.
