The staff at the hotel was not very friendly. We booked a room with three beds but we got a room with 2 beds and 1 folding bed.

Hang Neak (pronounced Hong Neek otherwise the tuk tuk won't know where to go) is a great hotel. Quiet, clean and professional. Make sure you have the beef salad on the very romantic rooftop restaurant. $3US for small is good enough for two with another dish. We stayed here twice and was happy to come back.

Hang Neak hotel was excellent. The hotel room was clean, well equipped with mini-bar, air conditioning and the works, and the 'rooftop' restaurant, although lacking variety was superb. The staff are friendly and approachable despite their limited spoken English. The hotel is quite some distance from the center of Phnom Penh. Constantly ailing electricity (which frequently cut out for short durations) and hopeless wi-fi infrastructure caused me great issue in my need to work, and call home.
