Very helpful staff, rooms were spotless and a nice amount of privacy and space between each bed! Best hostel I've stayed in on my travels :)

booked a private double bed room ensuite, the room was small but tidy with no windows. There was a window next to the shower and that's where mosquitoes fly in so it's better to have the washroom door shut all the time. There was no sound proofing at all in place, the walls are thin you can hear a lot of noises from outside. The window next to the shower cannot be shut, it's horribly noisy on a Saturday evening, not able to fall asleep until 2am. wifi in room sucks. breakfast was quite nice

This was our third visit in four years and makes a stay in Singapore so enjoyable. it is in an idealic situation: near to the MRT and Little India yet quiet and cool surrounded by remnant rainforest trees in the park. the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts good and the roof garden great for chilling out. particularly useful was being able to get a room extension for a late night flight. we will be back soon. thanks.

This is a nice hotel, seems like the backpacker rooms are all the rooms with no windows. But a window room will set you back over $230, so can't complain. Room was well fitted out, and it had an ensuite, luxury by backpacker standards, good storage and lighting. Breakfast was a little odd, sitting with western tourists, rather than other crusty travellers. Location was good as well, near Little India. Overall if you can afford it, its better than noisy cramped China town hostels.

This hostel was very clean and well presented, the staff were very helpful, it is close to 2 MRT stations, the other guests were pleasant but it's not an overly social hostel, not many solo travellers whilst I was there. The showers are great and the communal bathroom is fine, big bonus was definitely the free to use PC's set up with internet access.

Very nice interior, and in a great location. Staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet was also quite good. IMO I think it would be a good idea if they initiated some group activities at the hostel like Pool night, or even Burger night downstairs in the restaurant, or make the restaurant more like a bar for a more social environment. This would be good for solo travellers who might otherwise find it difficult to meet and actually 'hangout':) But overall good place and thumbs up!

Hybrid of hostel and hotel. Good location. Two bed room with bathroom included not that good. No window in the room. Annoying air condition can't be switched of. Grrrr

+++ Good location (10 min to Dobby Ghaut metro), clean, nice roof terrace where it is pleasant to sit in the evening. PCs with internet. Phones for free local calls. Buffet breakfast (eat as much as you can although not much to choose from) --- Room was without windows. Not allowed to bring food to the premises! No kitchen. Expensive.
