Hangzhou West Lake Youth House Reviews

It is in the perfect location and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They have a cold beer fridge which is needed after a long day walking around the lake and the hostel is like a wonderful swiss chalet.

It's a bit far from the center. Hanzhou taxi drivers don't want to take you in that direction, so keep in mind that you will have to walk your way back to the hostel.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful, just feel like being my sweet home. The room is spacious, airy and clean. Location is next to Leifeng Pagoda and the West Lake and free public bicycle station. Ideally for ones who love to enjoy the quiet and romantic sightseeing in Hangzhou. Just a little difficult to reach from train station by taxi. We printed the direction in both Chinese and English, but the taxi driver could not find the place. A passenger took us the the hostel, so nice.

Location and staff is good, especially the little dog called sunny~ I love her thought she is so shy. Rooms are clean and tidy but really a bit too noisy in the early morning due to the kindergarten children nearby.

The hostel is located only 5 minutes walk to the pagoda. really nice location. I will miss the white cute dog there. the dog is really loveable. The hostel is noisy in the morning because located just beside kindergarten/school. however, it is still nice to stay there.

The main reason why I chose this hostel was good reviews here on hostelworld. I can say that everything (staff, food, security, etc. ...) was OK. Hostel is especially well-located if you wanna go around the lake. If you wanna go to the centre it´s a bit far but it has a perfect atmosphere so if you go to Hangzhou I think it´s a good choice and I can only recommend!

The hostel was close to the West Lake and and accessible by bus at certain times of the day. They had very helpful staff, other friendly guests when I was there, and the internet connection in the common living area was good. :)

a nice place. Staff are extremely friendly. close to major sight seeing areas. Restaurants are a bit far away but good for a before and after meal walk. will stay again.

The hostel is located next to a school, so you're woken up by the kids at 7AM. staff is nice, grouping together around a little fire. Went here end of februari so of course cold, rainy and not isolated. For the ones who would come with parents ;) no the beds are not soft! Cute dog hanging around.

I can not lock inside the door of the room No.202. I didn't call staff due to it was to late that night.

Very good location as it is just next to LaiFengTower and bus stop is just outside. The room has basic facilities .. No shampoo, tootpaste, soap.. so have to bring your own stuffs. Overall is ok.

Breakfast was very good, but costs extra, the rooms were clean with aircondition and it is located 200 m from the lake! I was very satisfied!

It sometimes feels that the guests are intruding on the staff's hangout.

The staffs were helpful, but we couldn't get wifi from our room.. The location was close to the West Lake, especially Leifeng Pagoda and Sudi..
