The room was really nice, lots of wood and overall a comfortable stay. Decent breakfast in the morning and right next to Leifengta and the West Lake.

It was impossible to get to the hostel following the mail they sent me, I walked for hours without finding it, since no one seemed to know it. The rooms are nice and clean, and there's a wonderful garden and patio where you can sleep under the trees and relax for a while. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and just across the street there's West Lake, the main attraction in Hangzhou, so it is quite conveniently located.

Nice Hostel, but seeing the kindergarten or primary school students next to the hostel playing in front of war themed pictures, singing the national anthem and marching like soldiers made me sick.

The Staffs treat chinese and foreign guest so differently. There is a word in Chinese"谄媚" to best describe their attitude which means they curry flaour with foreign guest. I suggerst that Chinese people do not go to that hostel because you will find that most of their hospitality and help goes to foreigners. HEHE.

Very nice hostel with super friendly staff, we had a great time there! The rooms are clean and bright; the courtyard is cosy and quiet, perfect for breakfast time or just to relax after a long day visiting Hangzhou. There is a primary school right next to the hostel, so it can get a little noisy in the morning on weekdays when the children are doing their morning exercices (the children themselves are not noisy, but the music is), but we really liked it there and would defintely come again! :)

We stayed at a twin room with private bathroom and everything was just great. The shower was excellent, as well as the bed. But the best thing: the staff at the reception! They are always smiling and wanting to help. Their English is also very good, so, we definitely recommend this hostel! xie xie!

The hostel is right in front of the West Lake and has a bus stop just 10 steps away. The only problem is that public transportation in the city ends very early, but it has nothing to do with the hostel. The hostel has a very comfortable common area -even if it has no heating which would be appreciated in winter- and offers all the services you may need, just be patient with some things like waiting a while for hot water. In general terms we recomend it.

The hostel is perfectly located just near the lake but a little bit far from the place where there are all the restaurants, shops.... The staff is friendly and they have very comfortable chairs to relax and to watch the English channels on TV. And also a good library with books in many different languages. I would suggest that they have personal lights in the dormitories because it is quite dark and it is difficult to read at nighttime.

Nice hostel. Good sized dorm rooms and very comfortable beds. Nice common area with comfy chairs, internet and TV, though a bit dark in the evenings. Right by the lake too. I had a lovely time.

It was a very good hostel, but it was far away from the centre. It was difficult to find something to eat, specially at night.

The hostel is in an excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk to the lake. We booked a double room with bathroom, it was a good size and clean. The staff were helpful and made you feel at home. They have pets, which is fine but some people don't like them. The food is very cheap.

Nice hostel. In summer it seems to be a quite nice place as you can sit outside and it is near West lake. In winter it is a bit cold. Staff is really nice and helpful. All of them speak English. We would go there a second time.

This a very nice, cozy little hostel run by a group of friendly young people. The atmosphere is excellent, there is a brazier in the common room that warms you up, there is a TV and comfortable furniture. The hostel is close to the lake and all major attractions. The area is beautiful, everything is green, there are trees and flowers everywhere.

I found this hostel quite expensive, especially the hostel food and they were fairly inflexible with arrangements. Most of the staff were impersonal but that was made up for by the friendliness of the dogs.
