We stayed here for one night whilst on a road trip of the south island. The host is really nice and the hostel is a couple of minutes walk from the springs. The hostel feels very warm and homely. It has a great kitchen, garden, upstairs living space and lovely rooms. It even has a massage chair. I would highly recommend this hostel.
Great hostel, Tristan and Yoko are super helpfull and friendly. They keep the hostel clean, warm and cozy. It has everything you look for in a hostel.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The hostel is very cozy, comfortable, clean and well maintained. Tristan could not have been more friendly and welcoming.
Tristan was really welcoming on arrival, and had a lot of local knowledge and recommendations. The hostel is almost like an alpine ski chalet, and felt more like that than a hostel. It is a small hostel, with a nice communal dining and kitchen area, with a log fire which really warmed the place up. Upstairs is a sitting area with lots of sofas and a massage chair! The dorm I stayed in had 5 single beds, so no bunks! There is free parking too.
