For more than 100 years Hannus is located in the beautiful port of Antwerp. With a berth in the Bonaparte (click for map and route), facing the new MAS, provides the perfect stopover for the sports-minded visitor of Antwerp.
In this exceptional setting, surrounded by historic warehouses and port buildings you can sleep in a real ship can sit by the cage and leave cradles Hannus asleep. The equipment of the ship, the masts, the swords, the sails and ropes give the impression that if you can sail away, the sounds, the movements of the ship and the atmosphere associated with an international port such as Antwerp.

From the ship it is only 10 -15 minutes walking to reach the historical centre.

The description on the site makes the Ship look much fancier than it is. Cabins are TINY, with no space for luggage at all. WiFi is free, but only accecible on the deck and if you're lucky: it's a free town WiFi. It's rather humid on the ship (which, i guess, is natural), but combined with 15C temperatures on the outside it can be an issue. The boiler broke down at some point and there was no hot water in the shower for more that 12 hours. We fled the ship 3 nights earlier than planned.
