Excellent hostel. Very clean and provide you with everything you need. Just be aware that this is a party hostel with a generally younger crowd. Do not go there if you are planning to chill out.

Awesome Hostel! Great vibe and atmosphere! Great night life but also a nice chilling out area where it's quiet and relaxed! Great place to meet people and lots of trips you can go on! Highly recommend!

big party place, bar is always full every night, shuts at 11 and go as a group to other places. room and bathroom clean, modern, with big beds and big lockers. chill out place with films and computers on 5th floor. maps at reception which show all landmarks and suggested walking tour. staff on the whole very helpful but can be a bit harassed sometimes as it's so busy. security guards on the door at night. breakfast included.

Arrived, exhausted, at 10:30 but were not allowed to check in till 1pm. Sat in the tv room (which was good) until then but when we finally got to our rooms the beds hadnt been made. As check out is 11am and check in at 1pm we were a bit baffled as to what they had been doing in the meantime... wifi connection is awful, so if you need wifi dont stay here, however the bar and atmosphere are great and its a great place to meet other people to travel with. Breakfast is good too.

The only real negative comment goes out to the horrendous internet connection. It's a bit of a party hostel, but then there is a great chilled area with terrace and pool table. Street food stands, markets, sights are all at a reasonable walking distance. And security takes it's job very seriously. Great place to stay at, personally I preferred it to their "original" location.

Awesome hostel with a very lively bar downstairs! Staff were super helpful organisig trips and helpig with local knowledge but you can fins better value for money excursions elsewhere if you're bothered to look! WiFi was a little hit and miss!

Having stayed at the Little Hanou Hostel we decided to stay with Backpackers after going to Halong Bay just for variety. Our room was super nice but we paid WAY over the odds for it, especially as the Internet ' shaky and the atmosphere is upbeat, but not really that friendly. It's definitely a party hostel, and ad a couple just out to chat over a beer the vive was a little intense but perfect if this type of hostel is your thing.

Good hostel but to much noise for me ! This is more an hostel / club. Depend what kind of hostel you like.

The bathroom was extremely smelly, tours they offer are totally overpriced - you are better off booking somewhere else - and they would even charge you for a drop of milk for your tea. Other than that: great place if you want to meet people and have good nightlife

Great hostel. Facilities etc are everything you need, location is perfect close to bars. Atm, good brekkie! Few of the English 'staff' aren't good. Just get on people nerves. But you wouldn't choose anywhere else to stay in Hanoi as a backpacker. Downtown hostel 👍

The hostel is awesome, you can party downstairs and relax upstairs! The beds are very comphy! The staff is very nice and helpfull. Only bad thing is that the wifi is not working very well.... Don't forget to do the Halong Bay Castaway tour!!

Terrible wifi but otherwise comfortable and a good social atmosphere. Slightly overpriced I feel for Hanoi but I'd probably stat again.

It's a party hostel- you know what you'll get there. I booked a mixed 8 bed dorm and got a female 12 bed dorm (...), the offered tours are super expensive and so are the drinks. There is an extra lounge on the 5th floor, they have enough computers, it is clean and central. Obviously great to meet others. A free walking tour is offered, too.

Awesome hostel, one of my favourites so far! Will definitely be recommending to other travelers I meet! Great helpful staff and extremely clean hostel!

Great hostel for meeting people whether it be breakfast, on a tour, or on the bar crawl that starts at the hostel each night. Rooms are pretty good with decent air con and comfortable relatively large beds and lots of secure storage. The castaway tour was a highlight, although best line your stomach first cos there'll be plenty of drinking. And don't let then blindfold you whilst drunk if you're near a ledge. Still got the bruises thanks Damon.

This hostel is right in the centre of old quarter of hanoi so great location, the breakfast was good and staff friendly. The bar is great fun with cheap drinks and it's where all other hostels bring their guests to to begin the night! Rooms are good and bathrooms clean

Binge drinking starts at 6pm and you will be forced to join in! Staff are very pushy and it feels like you're on a club 18-30 holiday. Seats are removed so they can make a dance floor where the very rude Aussie woman will tell you you must join in because 'you're in Hanoi backpackers'. Tours are very overpriced so book elsewhere, the western staff on the travel desk will lie to you about the weather being all bright and sunny
