From the moment we entered the hotel we were looked after with professional ease.

Staff were friendly though communication was a little rough at times. We were on the 5th floor, room was a little musty and a/c didn't work but we didn't need it. Nice hot water in the shower, clean and comforable bed. Free breakfast was tasty. Location was fantastic, an easy walk to anywhere in the old quarter and only about 15-20min to the train station. If you book online try to hang on to a printout confirming your deposit; organization was not top notch.

We stayed in a double room and the room had very dirty sheets, dirty towels, dirty windows and it smelt bad. Couldn't tell when we arrived as they had burned incense in the room to cover the smell. It is run by a bunch of boys who sit around playing computer games like they are 15 years old. Beer in the bar fridge is overpriced and when we checked out and paid we found out that they had a rip-off conversion rate too. There are many much nicer places to stay in Hanoi. Stay in them.
