Nice place to stay. Amazing and helpful staff! Halong bay was awesome as we had the whole boat to ourselves. City tour was not bad but not great either...the tour guide was really friendly and helpful.

Our room , located at the back of the building, was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the breakfasts and were particularly pleased with the wonderful advice and help we received from Ms. Moon and her kind and welcoming staff in planning our trips to Hoi An, Sapa and Cat Ba Island and Halong Bay. A big "thank You" to all of the staff at the Hanoi Deluxe Hotel for making our trip to Vietnam so enjoyable. Jeffrey and Susan from San Francisco, USA.

Superb hostel, a little expensive though, but with really nice rooms. But there is one downside to it. The staff... they were really friendly till the point when we tried to go to Cat Ba. They told us there was no boat going and even called someone just to tell us all the boats are unavailable. This was of cause a lie just to make us stay a night longer...

Really excellent hotel on the edges of the Old Quarter. The staff were all helpful and their English is superb. Rooms are well equipped (air-co, fridge, TV etc.) and clean. Bathroom the also up to par. It could be that your room is on the sixth floor, so be prepared to walk some stairs
