Nice small hostel in the middle of the Old Quarter. Free beer on the rooftop is so good. It's not the cleanest I've ever seen but I was never uncomfortable. I liked the purple walls and the dorms, I met loads of people.

Close to main streets in old quarter, awesome breakfast- eggs made for you when you arrive, you make your own toast with butter and there's coffee or tea to drink. The manager is very sweet and informative. Would stay here again...I just wish all girls were cleaner!!! girls bathrooms are disgusting sometimes to even walk in! There is ac and fan in the room! They offer airport pickup!

Clean enough, central enough. But would have liked if they cleaned properly. They just did surface areas. But its good value for just a few nights.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great - just inside the Old Quarter. The dorm room didn't lock but there were lockers underneath the beds that seemed reasonably secure. Breakfast is tasty - the fresh watermelon is super sweet and delicious.

Fantastic place. Hanoi Hostel is very laid back and calm. A much needed break over Backpackers hostel which got a little crazy. Small place with only beds, and a rooftop lounge, the wifi was great and the free breakfast was surprisingly good. Next time I'm in Hanoi, I will definitely be returning. Thanks!

Had a brilliant time at hanoi hostel . The rooftop breakfast area and bar is so great and makes it easy to meet other travellers. Breakfast was delicious and sets you up for the day.shower wasn't great as you had to hold it yourself. However beds were comfortable and aaircon keeps you cool.they organized my halong bay trip too which was really cool. Would stay again definitely.

I love this place. The location is strategic for food, brief walking to the Hoan Kiem lake, nearby Night market and other attractions. Enjoyed the amenities here and great staffs who show me the beautiful places around Hanoi.

Great place! Free beer between certain hours was nice! Good mix of travelers that want to party and that want to chill. Pick and choose who you want to hang out with was nice.

Big lockers under bunk. Rooftop area, free breakfast and free beer every day, wish they offered a non alcoholic free drink but you can't really argue when it's free! free water on arrival. Staff helpful. Free computers in lobby. Our shower was missing a bracket so had to hold it but that was the only inconvenience. Beds comfy. Airport transfer $12, only 30min early morning, probably an hour in traffic though. Booked tours cheaper at an agent but tours generally same price as other hostels offer

Hostel was good, a bit north in the old quarter but still a good location. I went on both the ha long (monkey island) and sapa tours which were pretty good and reasonably priced through the hostel.

Compared to the price, I would definetelly recommend this hostel. With few Euros you get nice and clean dorm or room (they clean there 3-4times/day), free wifi, breakfast and every evening there is also free beer for guest. Staff is really nice and helpfull and they have a lot of good priced tours and bus/train tickets. Hostel is in good location and with walking distance to all main attractions/bars/restaurants.

Very standard hostel, not too social, it is a travel agency downstairs so they try sell you tours etc. Breakfast is really good and price is good. Great location.

The hostel was small, but friendly people and staff there. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a shelf and outlet by every bed. Just on the edge if Old Town so not a far walk to sights there but a bit far to the museums and other sights.

The location is excellent. Near to various attraction. Near to Hanoi Railway station. The free breakfast was awesome. You can book your tour package via the counter. I booked train ticket to Sapa and returns easily. The girl staff on duty that morning was extremely helpfull. Bathroom and toilet condition is good but not excellent. Overall, its a good place to stay.
