We really enjoyed our stay in Hanoi Rendezvous Hostel. Though the facilities were a little old the staff was just great and would help you with every problem. The included breakfast was always tasty and a good start for the day. It was definitly worth our little money. Thanks to all the staff again!

The rooms were nice and clean and the location was terrific. The free breakfast each morning was great. The best part about our stay was the staff they were exteremely friendly and helpful. They booked our halang bay tour and gave great directions and tips for around town. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in Hanoi.

The staff were all fantastic and so helpful. The trips and transfers they sorted without any difficulties for good prices were brilliant. I had problems with my card just before a trip to Sapa and they helped me out no end, making sure I had enough money until my card was sorted from their own pockets. The hotel itself is in a great location and was clean and comfy with great breakfasts. The free spring rolls and beer night was a great touch and the cafe gives people a chance to meet and chat.

Thanks for the great service. We stayed one night and the very helpful staff organised a two day trip to Halong Bay for us . We returned to the hostel for the last night and I would recommend it for anybody wanting to stay in the heart of the old quarter in Hanoi.

I was kind of expecting more of a hostel, but must admit it was really nice to have a night for so cheap in basically a really nice hotel. Dorms have double beds (no bunks in sight!), the staff, especially Anh, was super helpful, and I enjoyed my stay. If you're looking for a backpackers place, look elsewhere as this place does lack that place to really socialise, otherwise it's really a great place!

i stayed in the dorm, and noticed that a trashbin is missing, there is none, would be handy to have, as well as a clock on the wall, might be simple items, but convenient things to have around besides that i had a perfect stay, really nice beds, clean, good shower, good breakfats, nice staff tec. cheers vincent

Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Beds are very large with excellent mattress. Bathroom was clean too. Doesn't really have the backpacker atmosphere as there's not much of a hangout area but fantastic if you like it quiet. Dorms are on 6th floor which you need to climb the stairs to reach!

I was happy with my stay at Hanoi Rendezvous. The airport pick up, although overpriced in comparison to the standard fair from the airport, was hassle free and worth the couple of extra dollars. The dorm room was spacious, with good beds. The shared bathroom isn\'t the best, but served its purpose. Worth noting that not all the beds have lockers. The hostel is in a very good location for exploring the city, and most sites are walkable, the staff were helpful, though the tours are overpriced.

Good bed, good price, breakfast are varied and good value. Location is a bit far from traveler's hub but in the middle between Ho Chi Minh Complex and Huan Kiem Lake, we can walk to both destinations. Pretty good Halong Bay tour. Greedy for commisions that barely tolerate!

I think they have the best rooms and beds that i ever had in a Hostel. I\'ve been in the 6th floor, and it is only by stairs, so it\'s not really nice. The staff is really nice and very helpful about tours or questions that maybe one of us can do. I really recommend the hostel, because, finally you just go up and downstairs only a couple of times per day, but the beds are reaaally comfortable.

If there could be a rating higher than excellent for the staff at this hostel, I would no hesitate to click it. I had a fantastic time here. The highlights were: the breakfast (best hostel breakfast I've EVER had), the ease with which I could book everything and anything (day tours, tickets, taxis, shows etc), and the location. It is within walking distance of everything, and I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone. Only downer is that there's no real "Lounge" to promote meeting ppl.

It is important for the Hostel to know that their taxi driver is not very good with their customers. When I flew in, the taxi which I paid $20.00 was not only late, but was late because he was picking up a friend and drove her home before I was dropped off. When I was driven back to the airport, the same taxi driver stopped for lunch at a dingy place. While he was eating, other taxi drivers were trying to open the trunk and take my luggage. I stayed in the locked car scared half to death.
