The hostel is really nice, really well-located and with a good breakfast. But the wifi doesn't work inside the rooms, only at the reception.

very big hostel that it was like a hive and a lot of noisy teenagers around.. a long queue for breakfeast though the staff was doing good to supply consumed foods. Good cleanliness and free locker in the room were pluses. Location so so. But i would not have preferred if i had known that it was a 500 beds huge hostel. In an ironical way, they say that they are the worst hostel. I would not say they are the best.

Good atmosphere at the hans-brinker hostel! It's in an excellent location, coffee shops and bars are just up the road and they have a great bar right in the lobby. Food is cheap in the first floor lobby bar/lounge, and you get a complimentary breakfast. If you don't care who you're sharing a room with you can get some excellent prices - I stayed two nights (Sat and Sun) for less than £50. The lockers are a little crappy, so don't leave any valuables in them unless you have a private room.

When we first got to our room, our beds and lockers were being used, but not a big deal, we got a new room with no problem. The room had a private shower. There was a bar downstairs and it was very loud and busy. Breakfast is over the top! Very big and busy place but had a great time!

It is a good stay if you are young and just looking for a bed to sleep on. They provide breakfast which was a nice addition. The bathroom's were gross and cramped and the beds didnt have any ladders which became a problem, especially after long hours at the coffee shops...if you know what i mean. The lockers werent too safe since you could easily pry it open with your hands if you wanted to but they did make you show your key before entering the hostel which made you feel more safe. good locatio

The hostel is really close to the center. About the hostel itself, one morning some guy decided to play guitar and sing loudly at 9 in the morning in the courtyard and the staff of the hostel didn't manage to get him quiet..this was really annoying. Also, we had twice breakfast and the woman from the staff was extremely rude without any reason, she was screaming at us and other guests just because they were out of coffee.. However the staff from the reception was nice.

Given their marketing strategy focusing on being the worst hotel in the world, I guess there's no so much to say! :)

Staff very rude. No friendly atmosphere. Cleaners came in room each morning very loudly waking everyone. Only plus side was ok breakfast if you had a long time to wait for food to be replenished each time it ran out. Wifi didn't work in rooms.

There was one bathroom for 8 people. The bathroom smelt bad,and was dirty. There should have been at least a seperate toilet to shower. or even another hand basin. We also had to wait half an hour for check out. There was only one person on reception, it shouldnt be too hard to get another member of staff to give back the euro deposit.
