Staff was fairly unfriendly. When we arrived, the front doors stopped working and the emergency exit had to be used. The computer system also crashed at that time. Fairly interesting welcome... The room was small and sparce, the towel offered was only a hand towel, not showering towel. Lockers were too small to put suitcase in and didn't lock all the way. There was food in the hallway for 2 days that no one removed. Bar wasn't very social. Was VERY unimpressed and won't stay here again.

I'm first impression when we arrived late in the night wasn't so good. However in the morning,breakfast(which was included int he price) and nice atmospher in the bar was definetly inplus. And the location is just perfect: everything is in walking distance.

I gues, it will be a good idea to put few pegs in the bathrooms, so that there is place where one can hang his clothes when taking a bath.

Worst place ever. Really, don't try this place, is awful, dirty, noisy and is not worth for the money that you pay. Sleeping in the street is a better option.

Literally Incredible

The reception desk was chronically understaffed. It took far too long to get anything done and there were frequently large queues and long waits to even get to the desk. It was even more irritating when there were people around (or even behind reception) but not actually helping. Otherwise, the hostel is cheap and cheerful - basic but good value.

The bed and bathroom were not excellent but clean. Good location.

Disappointing and outdated. Most of the lockers were broken and the bunk beds didn't have a ladder to climb up. By "free breakfast" they really just mean toast and cheese. You have to pay extra for everything, including juice and cereal. RIDICULOUS. Should be more honest and say "free bread." Also, I specifically asked to be placed in a hostel with other girls (I'm an 18 year old female traveling alone) and placed in a room with 3 males. I was pissed, but when I addressed this they changed it.

We had 4 nights at Hans Brinkler, we were aware that it is a ungdums hotel, but the first night, there was too much uncontrolled noise and vandalism. We stayed in a 6 bed room 417, but there was noise and fuss all night in room 416 The elevator on the first floor were smashed and the fire alarm started in the morning. Brinkler is kept neat and clean, with the beautiful flower bouquets, on the graffit painted tables, is a beautiful sight. We had combed beds and fresh towels every day.

The shower floods, need to sort out the plumming. Also the bunk beds need ladders to get to the top, one of the lads with us slept on the floor because he was too drunk to make it to the top bunk. Also one of the lockers were broken, this stuff needs checking more often.

If you just want to go in to sleep .. its ok .. breakfast is also ok ....

I will definitely recommend Hans Brinker to my friends - we think the rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was great
