I stayed at happy coconuts one night. I needed a place close to the airport to get some shut eye between two flights. The place is indeed close to the airport and is clean. It was perfect for my needs. I would however not stay there if looking for ambiance or helpful staff. The staff present when i went wanted to order me a taxi for double the price it should have been...surprising especially since the hotel description goes on and on about what the fare should be...but all and all good value.

We chose this hotel because it had a very high rating, good description and affordable price, what we found didn't match it. The hotel is NOT in a fun neigbourhood, it's far away from everything, a 7-11 is and a couple of restaurants are couple of blocks away and but that's nothing to boast about. The staff is not rude but not friendly, offers no advice and tried to trick us into a double bed when we clearly booked a twin. It is clean though. Bad atmosphere, sign says its an insurance company?

the staff, although very nice, were unable to help with any tours or ideas of what to do in the Philippines, the only thing they could tell me to do was to go to the asia mall, which was not why I travelled to the Philippines. I asked for recommendations of where to eat locally and they were unable to help with this also. The location is very far from any of the main tourist spots. When I was leaving I asked the staff to call me a taxi and they told me to walk a few blocks and catch a taxi there

The staff nice, the price was ok for what we got. It's not close to anything but 7eleven but we only stayed for one night and happy coconuts was perfect for that!

We decided to try and find this place ourselves, but after taking a Jeepnee we got terribly lost. Two hours later we made it! But on the way back we saw just how close to the airport this place was! :-) The staff there are absolutely amazing and helped us book our bus tickets to Clark Airport, even though it took all day! Thanks for the help, we couldn't have done it without you!

This place is AWESOME! The staff here are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. This was my first time in the Philippines, and the staff helped me create a successful adventure in this beautiful country. The atmosphere of the hostel is positive and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I were to have to stay in Manila for any reason (Don't stay in Manila).

We stayed in for 4 nights. The room was basic, small but clean and with shared bathroom. It was almost like having an ensuite bathroom since the toilet had only a couple of users. The lady in the reception was lovely, so friendly and helpful! She had a good knowlegde of Manila. The area was safe and from the main street (Lopez st) it was easy catch a jeepney to Baclaran: bazaar, trainnstation, jeepney to SM Mall of Asia etc. There is a good Thai restaurant within few minutes walking distance!

Very nice staff, clean bathrooms, cold drinks ready to buy in the hostel. Near from there (via Sucat Road), perfect Thai restaurant Kah, with perfect food and very helpfull staff - they helped us very much with the plan of our journey, provided a lot of information. Not far from supermarket and main street.
