They re in remodelation and is unconfortable to be into the dust, besides the bar is the only place where you can be with your laptop till late 12 noon but no late so if ure in rush for calls on skype or surf on internet they dnt ve a proper space to do it like a living room or a business center. In the rooms is not propper when people is sleeping.

Flair of old traditional Bejing House left because public meeting point are located in the middle. Staff was very friendly on arriving, after request to arrange only a driver, gone, because they can't make any additional money with selling there own expensive traveling offers. Driver was required to give up 30% to the Hostel of our payment.

We had trouble booking tickets back to Qingdao and had already checked out of our room earlier that day. The woman at the front said it was no problem for us to check back in for the night. Service was good and all the staff were easy to get along and communicate with. Would definitely room with them again.

I throughly enjoyed staying here. The staff is lovely! The food (especially breakfast) is delicious, albeit more expensive than local places. The beds were great with large, fluffy blankets that provided me with the best sleep in months. Location is great for any of your endeavors, as the subway is close by and there are some cool places in the area. Some construction currently going on at the hostel, but not disturbing. Would stay here again and again!

We had a good time at Happy Dragon Courtyard! The hostel itself is really interesting and the location can't be beat! It would be good if the free map gave more information about things close by though. The staff in reception and at the bar were always smiling and helpful! The food isn't bad either! We did the Great Wall Tour booked through the hostel and it was a really good day, you have to pay extra to get the cable car up to the wall though and the tabogin down but it's well worth it!

Great staffs who can speak english and very helpful. I love the atmosphere that is courtyard and feel a bit antique chinese. I stayed in the 6 bed dorm, they have locker inside for everybody and have a key for each one. The cafe' is also a nice place to stay, talking with other tourists, using Wifi and definitely order their food, it's delicious and good when you tired to buy a chinese food outside.

The best hostel I've ever stayed in. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept very clean and the free lockers were great. Food was good too with a varied menu.

So I am an American that lives in China, there is a couple of great things about this hostel. It had by far the best shower I have used in China. Also the price was good. Like they say you get what you paid for. There is only one bathroom on site and it was always very dirty. My bed and towel were "new" but had hair that did not belong to me or my wife. The staff what great and helped with everything. The location is very close to the subway, but that is all.

Very friendly staff, good vibe, clean decent hostel, and one of the cheaper ones at that so great value. Went down to the picturesque town Pingyao for a few nights (recommended) and they were happy to store my large bags for a a few days. Nice Huton-style set up and right next to the subway so easy access to the Beijing's few attractions. Is also a block away from 'ghost' street (good for food) and short walk or 2 stops from Lama Temple where there is also a hub of small eateries/shops etc.

This hostel is a hidden treasure. Staff is very friendly and speaks good English, the wifi is good, the bar and restaurant is really cool. At the end of the alley is an entrance to the subway station which is convenient. The room was clean and they provide large lockers which is a huge plus. I would definitely stay here again'

It is a nice place and I will definitely will be back. The rooms are clean and the bathroom was recently updated. Nice bar/ restaurant in the center. But next time I will use military time to indicate my arrival time. Our room was given away since I said we would arrive at 10:00 but I should have selected 22:00. We were able to stay for one night and the staff was nice enough to try to help us find another hostel for the remainder of our stay.

the bathroom is composed of three showers et 2 "toilets" for all the hostel, whats' more, you can't take a shower at the same time than other people or it will be so cold or so hot one second later! it is in a state of neglect, and so dirty!

Bad experience. Booked a private double bedroom and had payed the deposit. We travelled for 1.5 hours to hostel only to find out that they had given our bedroom away. Their reason: "the person staying in your room decided that they wanted to extend their trip, so we gave your room away". No apologies. We however lucked out and its more expensive sister hostel, Spring Time Hostel, took us in for a discounted price. Amazing staff, location, and newly renovated rooms. GO THERE!
