Upon arrival the more than friendly staff not only gave me a warm welcome, but they also provided me with a map marked with locations of both necessity and interest. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Beijing.

Great hostel! The room was really small, but clean. Stuff was very helpful. wi-fi in the room was really weak, but on the first floor it's better. This hostel has a great bar on the first floor, with great atmosphere, good food and drinks! And all people there are young and friendly, so it's a really good place to stay!

A real mixed bag this one。 Staff were fantastic， exceptionally friendly and helpful， and good with getting hostel guests mixing and meeting eachother。 However，it can be a loud hostel and guests who were up partying at 5am were not really told to be quiet. Also, we found a cockroach in our room. Not cool! Everything else was clean though. Our bathroom was comically small but everything worked great. Despite this, I would recommend the hostel. We had a great time.

The best time ever! The staff were so helpful and friendly and would do anything to help you! The trips were excellent and really quite cheap. The facilities were simply superb!

I stayed in Happy Dragon Hostel for 6 nights,there were three days I have nearly no water for my shower,other three days,I had sometimes hot water,sometimes cold water when outside was like -14.And the heating wasn't working properly,On the other hand,staffs were very nice and helpful,but they still could do anything about the cold water.Any way,if you are in China in summer and you are looking for a place just for sleeping ( without showering) and you are in the right place.

We stayed during part of Chinese New Year. The place was very clean and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The free pick up service from the train station was perfect! When we wanted to extend and they didn't have any rooms they were very helpful in helping us find alternate accommodation. We would stay here again. It was walkable to the Wangfujing shopping area and very close to a good subway line.

Great social hostel, staff are very friendly and helpful and ensuit dorms are excellent for the price.

Great hostel. It was a little bit hard to find even with the map, however the location is good. Not too far from the subway station. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was good.

This was an awesome hostel. The staff was extremely helpful with everything we needed. The rooms were fine, what you would expect from a good hostel. We were there 12 nights and had an amazing time visiting Beijing. And Betty is awesome!

Good hostel... and staff were very helpful but a bit pushy which was a little irritating... Otherwise enjoyed our stay

Staff and location are both brilliant - the girls who work there are lovely! The single room is a good size, clean and comfy. The bar serves good food, especially on the free hotpot night! Good atmosphere, not too noisy, though I went during off season. Away from the main road but near good transport links. Would recommend staying here!

Wonderful! Great atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful, really cheap. the best hostel in Beijing, were it not for the location.

i travelled all around asia like osaka and hong kong and stayed in their hotel....dragon hostel was the best value for money! affordable and great staff! staff were very attentive and there to help u for dirctions! and they spoke good english !

Decent hostel, not a big common room (it's a pub feel). Laundry service for 15/kg is a bit high considering it takes 3 days for it to dry.

Really nice hostel with great location! We stayed in a double room and was happy with everything. The staff was really nice and helpful. We took a tour to the Great Wall (mutianyu) arranged by the hostel and it was good value for money and we really liked that we got time on our own and that it wasn't a touristy part of the wall we went to. All in all this hostel is very recommendable!!! We would stay there again.
