They really help and can speak English fluent. The only place where you can find nice people around Beijing. Especially Candice. We'll stay there again if we back to Beijing

Had a great time at Happy Dragon Hostel. Staff were very helpful and had a very good understanding of English. The bar had a really good range of food for reasonable prices. I made some great friends at this hostel and we were able to stay up until early of the morning drinking and having fun. Was in a good location within walking distance to forbidden city and tianamen square etc and with the metro close by. I did the tour of the Great Wall with the hostel and was really happy with it.

Staying at Happy Dragon Hostel is one of the best decisions I made during my China trip. The warmth, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is incomparable anywhere else. Hostel staff Candice and Simon really went out of their way in helping me book my train tickets to several destinations in China. They gave me lots of travel tips in and around Beijing and made sure I had a fun and enjoyable stay. I would never forget their hospitality and sincerity. The hostel restaurant is also awesome!

We loved staying at the Happy Dragon, it was really comfortable, clean and very welcoming! The bar serves good food all day, although the music can get a bit loud in there. The hostel organises trips to different things, we went to see a Chinese Opera show and an acrobatics show, both were brilliant. However, if you do go to the shows, bring a map with you because the transport there is included, but the transport back isn't. On the whole, a great hostel to use to explore Beijing!

Very great place! The staff were extremely helpful in telling me places to see and eat. Tours provided at the hostel were great as well, they had a good selection. Metro station Very close by, as well as great morning market almost directly out the door.

Very accommodating to our needs/requests and the staff was so friendly. I would definitely recommend this hostel to other travelers in Beijing - especially those who want to be in an ideal location to see all of the popular sights and have easy access to the metro.

The front desk staff were sooo lovely and the room was clean, but unfortunately I won't be staying again as it was just too noisy. I was only ever able to get maximum three hours of sleep from 3am to 6am, because the cleaning staff are up and moving around talking loudly at around 6 and the other tourists are usually partying until 3am. If you're a light sleeper, you won't sleep here. Definitely stay if you're after a party hostel, not if you want to actually sleep.

Overall, the staff are very helpful and the hostel itself is clean and well presented. The hostel runs excellent tours, which are good value for money, and benefits from being close to restaurants, the subway and attractions such as Tianammen Square and the Forbidden City. However, be warned that many of the clientel of this hostel, and surrounding locations frequent the bar until 4 or 5am, disupting many people's sleep. If you are looking for a part hostel, look no further! Not for us though!
