This hostel is nice and cozy. The room was beyond my expectation for a hostel in China. It's clean and tidy. Would definitely stay in this hostel again if I were to be in Beijing again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the location was excellent. The only shortcoming was internet access at the metered computer stations - infuriatingly slow.

We stayed here only one night. The person at the reception desk was the only person who spoke English. She was nice. As for the location, it is hidden inside the side streets and not located on the main road. It is best if you get to the hostel during the day time.

Nothing wrong with the hostel but would definitely recommend their sister hostel, Happy Dragon Hostel over this one. Better atmosphere at the other hostel and closer to the station.

The hostel staffs are friendly and helpful. Good location as near to famous tourist spots. Need improvement in cleanliness as sometime I could find small and smelly insects on the bed. In general, this hostel is recommended despite the small creatures..

PROS: Lovely bar with good atmosphere and nice food Very friendly and helpful staff Curtains around dorm bed and individual lights Good book exchange CONS: Lot of confusion on check in, lost booking, had to stay in a different room. Was supposed to change the next day, but then it didnt happen. Seems to happen a lot, as 3 other people there had the same experience. Room quite cramped, although adequate, smell from bathroom was pretty unbearable, and shower poor. Shaky internet connection

First of all if you order a meal it may take awhile like 30 - 50 minutes secondly, i thought i was getting bitten by misquitos in my dorm but after scratching for days and having bites where i know they could not bite i think it was bed bugs! Not happy. thirdly if you like to sleep on a plank of timber with less than a 1 inch thick mattress this is the place for you

Close to the subway. Great Wall Tour seems overpriced, though I didn't take it. The staff is very friendly and the food is great and cheap.

Very nice hostel with cute bar, nice rooms. Very friendly and helpfull staff and I enjoyed the Great Wall Tour very much, one of the highlights of my trip, especially with the nice lunch in the end! Thank you to the whole Team. I had a really nice stay. Also the dumpling making was fun. The rooms on the ground floor are a bit noisy, as close to bar and kitchen (I had a big double room on the ground floor....even though I booked a single :-)..very nice, totally spacious!), but all in all okay.
