Very quiet residential location, but easily walkable to town. The room was much better then expected for the price, lovely view from the balcony. Very helpful staff. It was wonderful place with its own garden - we were having breakfast on the terace. There were only two rooms, so you have lots of privacy. If you lost, just do not ask for "Happy home" (nobody knows), it is just little a bit hidden house with number 15. The place is about 8 minutes from sea. For other places, do not forget to rent a municipal bike for free (you just need to wake up early)!! We spent two great days here. I really recommend this place and also Cascais. My girlfriend and I stayed in Happy House in August 2009 for 5 nights. The shower is clean, the room is rather simple, but comfortable and clean. There are microwave oven, plates, cups etc, TV and fridge. There's a small terrace with a table, so we took breakfast outside. Nobody cleaned our room, but as we stayed only for 5 nights, it was not a problem. it takes 10 minutes to get to old town and the beach and 15 minutes to railway station and bus station.
